Talib Kweli has never been one to run away from difficult issues. He tackles each problem head on and has always been a “man of the people.” His tireless dedication to the upliftment and empowerment of the working class must always be credited and remembered. He is the living embodiment of Hip Hop in its most pure form – A brilliant and creative artist who follows his own lead, but also possesses the kind of clear vision and positive outlook that will inspire future leaders of tomorrow. So it is with great honor that we toast Mr. Kweli with a big Insomniac salute. This one’s for you.
