AndYouDon’tStop! Radio Show with Chuck D, Johnny Juice, and Wild Man Steve


Public Enemy front man and Hip hop Icon Chuck D recently announced the launch of “…ANDYOUDONTSTOP! ” is a 2 hour radio broadcast on New York terrestrial radio station WBAI 99.5 FM. The show airs Friday nights from 8 – 10 PM EST. As importantly the show is blastcast and archived across the WorldWide Web on www.WBAI.org , and soon to be PODCAST on iTunes and BEYOND.FM

ANDYOUDONSTOP! is an urban music magazine which according to MistaChuck, “Brings the noise with world beats, and issues, missing discussions, inside stories about the music, labels, producers, writers, and fanatics about this”. Its the 120 minute epicenter of Rap Music and HipHop.

The ANDYOUDON’TSTOP! men and women charged with the duty of delivering this audio magazine show are co-hosts Public Enemy Producer DJ Johnny Juice, and radio veteran and on-air personality WildMan Steve. The Executive producer of the show is Andrea Rose Clarke of WBAI and the engineer and producer of the show is DJ Johnny Juice. All with legendary radio experience at the foundation of the artform and genre.

Other contributors helm theme categories like guest Commentary called What I Think, The Wonder Twinz exposing new rappers on their, Who Got Next? spot. DJ Johnny Juice examines samples etc. on ‘Break It Down Like This’. The Library , FLIX, and Planet Rock rap about books, films and International Rap respectively. Hey DJ is the 15 minute guest DJ mix, and the attention grabbing SPIT YOUR MIND roundtable talk segment invites 4-5 dignitaries to talk and debate on raised moderated topics in the genre.

Chuck D INTROs monologues and OUTROs the show , as well as manning a segment called Songs That Mean Something and This Week In Hip Hop and Rap Music. Outside of this Chuck D is one of the most prodigious artists in the history of Hip Hop. His groundbreaking group, Public Enemy established him as an intelligent, articulate spokesperson for political and socially conscious music. He redefined Hip Hop as music with a universal message, and his revolutionary lyrics gave a voice to urban youth and the under-represented. Dubbing Rap “The Black CNN”, he taught the world that the genre was more than entertainment; it was a force for social change.

He is an in-demand speaker on the college lecture circuit and is often invited to provide commentary on TV news programs. Rap has become a worldwide phenomenon that influences every aspect of modern everyday culture.
