Donny Spade & Akademic release a new track that finds the emcees questioning their place in the industry amidst constant struggles and daily trials & tribulations. Musically it’s a sharp left turn for Donny, who we’re accustomed to hearing over 60’s & 70’s infused soundscapes…but a welcome one. Diversity is necessary for the growth of an artist and a more contemporary sound will allow the lyricist to gain even more fans. Both Donny & Akademic pour their hearts out on the cut, allowing us to share their pain & frustrations. It serves as a reminder of how difficult the industry and LIFE can be, but we implore exceptional artists like these to NEVER give up!
