Duck Down fights Alzheimer’s with new track and apparel, support the cause

There have been countless of battles in the Hip Hop industry, and now Duck Down Music is in a battle of its own. However, it’s not with recording artists from another label, it’s to fight Alzheimer’s. Earlier in the year, Duck Down co-owner Dru Ha lost his Father to a decade long battle with the disease. In the honor of his father, Dru announced that he will run in the NYC ING Marathon in November with proceeds from donations that he raises going to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation. As well, Duck Down Music will donate revenue from the sale of a new track featuring several of the label’s artists, including Buckshot, Smif-n-Wessun, Kidz in the Hall, and others, to the cause as well. Here’s a sample of “Run to Remember,” which can be purchased on iTunes for .99 cents.
