1) DANIEL SON literally swooped in at the last second to conquer the countdown at #1 with his LIL ETO featured banger called “Cartel Wheels.” The PhybaOptikz produced gem finds Sonzarelli dodging death as he slides through enemy territory, pulling out of town jobs & collecting stacks of Brown Bag Money to make the whole ordeal worthwhile. Dreams come true as he bodies the dark, foreboding track alongside Rochester’s lyrical renegade who steps up with extra clips of red-hot verbal artillery. Scene by scene, each action plays out in their favor. Life might be a movie but make no mistake…Daniel Son, Lil Eto, and PhybaOptikz will always be the main feature!

2) KILLA KALI leads the Gold Chain Military in “Protest” with an infectious Grimaz Muzik laced track that radiates the power and strength of a street prophet who refuses to lose! The lyricist speaks his mind and we all benefit from his insight & creativity. Hands can be cuffed but you can’t restrain the mind. When going against the establishment use this song as your theme!

3) You had plenty of time to rest…but VEE SKEENO’s back to slap you outside your comfort zone with the Waly O produced rhymefest, “Attacking The Clones!” Over a raw, unrelenting track, Skeeno takes other rappers to task by clarifying what it means to be a true MC with one three minute verbal blast of heat so explosive that the fire department will arrive at your door the second you press play! This is Vintage Veez at his finest. Best believe it only gets better from here!

4) E JAKE linked up with Griselda Records’ kingpin, WESTSIDEGUNN, and put the “Fear Of God” into any opposition who dared cross their path. The Boger laced track sounds like an old western gunfight at the O.K.Corral. You can almost see the vultures flying overhead as they wait to pick fresh meat from the newly deceased. E Jake & Gunn are the top shooters in the industry…so it’s a showdown with only one possible outcome.

5) ALIANO & JAKK WONDERS heat it up & let it burn with the REKS, M-DOT & MC WHITEOWL featured banger, “Classic Like That,” from their forthcoming “California Dreamin'” EP. It’s one of those power gems that gets better with each successive verse…and no wonder, considering the talent involved. Each spitter detonates the track with C-4 styled lyrical explosives that honor the Golden Era and stamp the joint with so many high level quotables that fans will refer back to this collabo and deem it a classic.

6) HEEM STOGIED gets listeners high off his dope new joint produced by ThaGodFahim called, “What You Smokin.” That sticky green might get ya lifted but it doesn’t compare to the audio excitement that awakens your senses when the soulful hook and ill piano chords spill out your speakers. Heem Stogied keeps us feenin’ for more music. Dip into his supply and take a hit!

7) SMITTY THE KID gives us a taste of some “ADD & Nicotine” with his CHRIS RIVERS & KID BLAZE featured joint, “Stay Alive.” The Kandon Kyser produced banger is noteworthy for its monstrous beat and of course, for the venomous display of rage-fueled rhymes delivered by rebel emcees on a mission! If you want to stay alive join the crew. Their survival in the industry is all but assured!

8) 11/9 or 9/11? J-LIVE compares the results of the 2016 Election with the tragic date in U.S. history on his incendiary new track, “Eleven Nine.” The lyricist doesn’t hold back when it comes to discussing his opinion on politics, race, and just plain human decency. Darkness is coming our way…no doubt. But at least J-Live is here to show us the light!

9) Let’s just be as direct as possible…AL.DIVINO x DATKIDBRAVO make dope music! On “Ralph Lauren Rugs” we said goodnight to the bad guys as the versatile lyricists ripped into a banger so powerful it might leave a crater in your livingroom floor! What are we saying?…This is the kind’a joint that’ll make your building collapse!!! The emcees deliver rough & rugged rhymes with intensity while maintaining a sense of class. Don’t step on their Ralph Lauren Rugs or they’ll blow a hole in your head!

10) MACH HOMMY gives us another tantalizing “H.B.O.” teaser in the form of the Knxwledge produced, “Selfy Stik.” The joint is only 58 seconds but it does what it’s supposed to do – get us excited and whet our appetite for more! Feel the vibes…

Well that’s it for this week. Catch ya next time and…DON’T SLEEP!
