1) O.C. dropped a powerhouse G Whiz produced banger that proved once and for all he’s “The Best!” The DITC master lyricist has been steadily repping for the legendary crew with a series of dope tracks, but this solo cut from the forthcoming “Same Moon Same Sun” album is definitely the stand out by far! He’ll “outshine any one of these top dogs!” That goes without saying. O.C. remains on top!

2) A-PLUS decided to bless listeners with a previously unreleased gem titled “All I Brought” that brought the house down as soon as we pressed play! The power & energy of the Hieroglyphics lyricist radiated through the speakers as jazzy horns & pulsating Boom Bap action took us to hip hop nirvana. We couldn’t get enough of this joint & neither will you. It’s top quality music. ‘Got to love it baby!’

3) ROZEWOOD takes fans on another “Channel 13” sonic journey with the Bozack Morris produced masterpiece, “From N***az To G.O.Ds.” Lessons on knowledge and self-empowerment help us “take our place among the stars” as the otherworldly track transports listeners into the future. This is food for the spirit as Rozewood elevates our mind, body, and soul!

4) BEANZ stomps on the competition and smashes them into pieces on the new BEANIE SIGEL featured banger, “6Teen.” Newothakid helms the boards for the sinister, 70’s styled Boom Bap, that serves as the perfect introduction to the forthcoming “Painted Pictures” project. We’re talking raw lyricism merged with earth-shattering rhythms that will stay imprinted in your brain! There’s no stopping The Bully & Beanz. The power of true, authentic Hip Hop reigns forever!

5) TABLEEK took some time off from rockin’ mics with the Maspyke crew to link up with BLAKNERD and drop “The Boom!” The Kid Sublime produced joint delivers the goods by serving up a funky track that hearkens back to the golden era without sounding like a relic from the past. The cut can’t even be classified as a product of modern times because music this good invokes rhythms of the future!

6) A MITCH of the WDGAF(Writing Dreams Goals And Fantasies)crew shared introspective rhymes over The Cratez produced Boom Bap on “mE.” The impressively crafted track finds the emcee reflecting on hard times and past struggles while designing a blueprint for future success. It’s a strong cut that showcases a rising artist with talent to spare. Now that he’s got our attention we’ll keep on listening!

7) P.SO & 2 HUNGRY BROS linked up with HOMEBOY SANDMAN & K. GAINES for a little mic & mix mastery called “Open Palm Strike.” Top of the line rhymes merge with powerhouse production for a sonic payoff that must be heard to be believed. So stop everything else as you sit back & enjoy the music!

8) CHISOM dropped a Cyan produced gem from his “MELO” EP and kept it “REAL.” The rising artist flaunts slick rhymes over a head-nodding groove that keeps the excitement building until the end. ‘Keep hittin’ ’em with the heat. Chisom brings it time & time again!

9) EASALIO teamed up with MAFFEW RAGAZINO for some 4/20 fun on “Cloud IX.” Spaced out vibes & dope rhymes only add to the high. When you need some blunted audio excitement these two emcees are the guys to call!

10) THE GAME rushed to the studio after hearing of Prince’s passing and teamed up with LORINE CHIA to deliver a heartfelt tribute to THE ARTIST on the Bongo By The Way produced, “Rest In Purple.” Utilizing elements of “When Doves Cry,” the lyricist looked inward for reflection as he pondered the brevity of life. Here today. Gone tomorrow. Always show love to family & friends because you never know when you’ll run out of time.

Well that’s it for this week. Catch ya next time and…DON’T SLEEP!
