According to Radar Online, Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles claimed that Jay-Z and Beyonce spread divorce rumors to boost ticket sales for the couple’s On The Run tour. Mathew made the claims while appearing on a Houston radio show earlier in the week. He explained that rumors whether good or bad can create a demand for the acts and hype up their audience. Mathew stated, “It’s called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot of times…I know, because we’ve done this. From experience, there’s a tour going on.” He also mentioned that Solange’s album sales went up 200 per cent after the elevator incident and hinted that a Destiny’s Child reunion tour might be happening soon.
