Lil Wayne is a certified lyrical genius. The Insomniac crew recognized his burgeoning talent waaayyyy back when we were one of the first publications to give the entire Cash Money clique coverage when no one else paid them much attention. However, no matter how appealing his mic skills may be, it’s still sad to see Weezy achieve such an unheralded level of money & fame that it obviously made him lose touch with reality.
