It’s a sad day in music as we’ve received news that Phife Dawg (Malik Taylor) of the seminal Hip Hop group, A Tribe Called Quest, has passed away at the age of 45. Although the cause of death hasn’t been reported at the time of this writing, Phife struggled with diabetes for years and received a kidney transplant in the mid 2000’s. We send our condolences to friends and family & will always honor the man & his legacy by keeping his catalog of classics in constant rotation.
