Rising lyricist, Brandon Stoehr, pushes his creativity to the limit on a brand new mixtape showcasing diverse styles & impressive versatility titled, “As Far As It Goes.” On the 14 track collection, Seattle, WA’s 19 year old phenomenon drops irresistibly compelling bars that will excite fans & even make veterans in the game do a double take.

“Told Em One Day” launches the project into action with club ready production courtesy of Don P & a whirlwind of rhymes designed to excite the listeners. It’s a rousing introduction to the artist that’s smoothed out by the laid back Jacob Lethal produced head nodder, “Noon To Six.” Brandon connects with an elastic flow that is seriously on point! The Moshuun produced “Dream Slip” follows the track with West Coast inspired flavor that would be perfectly at home on any Golden Era Snoop Dogg or Dogg Pound album. The young lyricist rides the rhythm like a real G. The Doggfather would be proud!

“4 AM” (produced by Sez & Stunnah Beatz) delivers a trippy soundscape that finds the emcee “working like a brother had 8 jobs!” The Menace laced gem, “Know This Already,” cribs its influence from Desiigner’s “Panda” track. Brandon bodies the joint with ease, displaying well-earned cockiness over the ominous production. “This Paper” (produced by Taz Taylor) finds the lyricist barreling through a sea of haters as he chases his dreams of financial independence before shifting gears on another Taz Taylor helmed track titled “Cost Of Freedom.” The song is one of the most powerful showcases on the project due to Brandon’s thought-provoking outlook on the current political & social climate. Sample lines such as, “Politicians actin’ like they playin’ out a movie bruh/Mad shootings everywhere like it’s Call Of Duty but/they could never shoot me up/leaders they never true to yah” or “Society corrupt/ Working for the government/They ‘posed to work for us!” indicate that there’s a lot more to this artist than spitting a few nonsensical bars on a track. Taz doesn’t let him down on the production end of things either. The track rocks! Those who criticize the current crop of emcees for having nothing important to say need to listen to this!

“Own Thing” (produced by Don P) centers around Brandon’s reflection on a past relationship that ended as he began the pursuit of his career endeavors. It’s followed by the Cxleb produced “New Day” that serves as an inspirational pep talk for anyone dealing with life’s ongoing struggles. The self-produced “Don’t Stop” details Brandon’s daily grind over a funky synth-laden track that leads into another Taz Taylor blessed gem called “Alive” that cleverly incorporates a filtered Lenny Kravitz sample into the mix. “Changed Up”(produced by Omito) adds another infectious club banger to the catalog before segueing into the Jacob Lethal produced title track, “As Far As It Goes.” The fun, catchy joint keeps the party moving before he LITERALLY slows down the pace with altered vocals & a down shift in tempo. The Degree featured “Overtime” (produced by Don P) rounds out the collection on a celebratory note as Brandon rhymes about his undeniable work ethic over electric rhythms crafted to instantly grab the audience’s attention.

Brandon Stoehr proves that he has a steady supply of innovative ideas that will aid him in future projects. His current mixtape is a solid effort that will resonate with the hip hop audience and attract new listeners the world over. Be on the lookout for more great music from this gifted emcee because he’s unstoppable. He’s shooting for the top of the charts and taking his talent “As Far As It Goes!”
