Review: WiseProof – “Scuse Me”

IMG_0534WiseProof is a difficult artist to classify…but he wouldn’t have it any other way. Take for example, the lyricist’s latest cut titled “Scuse Me.” Flowing over a J Barz produced track, WiseProof expertly cascades around an intricate fusion of hip hop, EDM, tribal bass, and world music to show listeners the commonality of all music genres. The bold experimentation could’ve easily proven to be a recipe for disaster. Instead, he upends our expectations by delivering a product of substance that will appeal to his blossoming fan base and casual listeners alike.IMG_0535

“Scuse Me” can be best described as a powerful hallucinogenic that opens the mind to a new level of sonic bliss. It’s Electro Dancehall Rap from the future! WiseProof is on the pulse of concepts and rhythms few artists dare to explore. He’s music’s best kept secret waiting to be exposed. Once the masses become familiar with his material, all bets are off!

Bonus: Here’s a video for another innovative track called “More More More More.”
