Hot off the success of the 3 night miniseries “The New Edition Story,” BET has decided to move forward with a series based on the life of legendary Queensbridge lyricist, Nas. According to Deadline, the show will be called “Street Dreams” and focus on the evolution of the artist from young man to worldwide phenomenon. Jonathon Levine will be performing writing & directing duties for the pilot.
