Today’s Hip Hop environment resembles the clone wars; there are endless armies of rappers with the same lyrical content, similar personas, and near identical delivery. Enter Stiff Ha, an artist with no shortage of art in his work. His latest release entitled “#Ha” is far from the everyday fare that clutters the noisy soundscapes of the genre. Stiff Ha flips scripts to the beat of his own steez- stylized, frantic and at times manic. The album features a range of sonic variety- hard edged rock to old school rap cadences, horror without the gore, and trapish flair minus the stereotypical gun clapping fodder.
