Wise Intelligent Drops Jewels on Djezuz Djones

Wise Intelligent, front man for one of Hip Hop’s most slept-on groups (Poor Righteous Teachers) has released his brand new project entitled, “Wise Intelligent Iz The Unconkable Djezuz Djonez.” As always, Wise drops gems- something he’s been doing for two decades. It’s available now on iTunes and Amazon.com. Here’s the new video:

For those who don’t know PRT, here’s the video for “Rock Dis Funky Joint.” Look for an upcoming interview in the world’s first Hip Hop industry magazine with the PRT frontman.

  1. Wise intelligent is one of the best MC’s to ever rock the MIC. PRT’s New World Order was one of the most slept on classics in Hip Hop history. I remembered when I bought the tape and then the CD. PRT is the truth!

  2. Poor Righteous Teachers is most definitely one of the more slept on groups of the 90s with something to say. The deck was stacked up against conscious Hip Hop when the major labels began to saturate the market with lowest common denominator rap music. It’s a shame that someone who claims to be a fan of this genre not being aware of PRT. Their music was solid, delivery was tight, and their lyrics were comprised of positive messages.

  3. Nice Vid, I like the macked out rides in the backgrounds. Caddy’s & Lincolns; nice! Wise is actually doing that ole reggae “sty-lah-daahnce-hall-chan-tah-rewind-seleck-tah” rhyme-style with his delivery. Sounds good, but at times the flow does seem like Bone Thugs turned 5 %. I wish he would have at least let the audience see the graf-piece at the end of the video. From the few video shots of it, it did look like a very inspiring mural. Oh well, but overall, I’d say it’s a nice track, I’ll give it a few spins on my smart-phone (ha). Anybody peep any other cuts off the album? I swear, Wise should just cut a reggae joint with KRS, or Just-Ice, or somebody out there new with this type of reggae rap style. Peace… Lork
