Akon has a new website that does triple duty as a social network, digital music store, and most importantly a music analyzer “that can predict if your song has the potential to be a hit.” This statement leaves us with a few questions:
What’s the likelihood of technology being able to do that?
If it’s true, won’t labels only start releasing hits?
If the technology says a track is a hit, but music fans don’t feel it, are fans just wrong?
