BK Hip Hop Artist City The Great (Special Ed Protege) Brings Hip Hop Back To The Forefront

City The great wrote his first rap “F*ck School” at the young age of nine. Since then he’s been living the cliche “the rest is history.” The Brooklyn-based artist/CEO of Certified Nation Entertainment carries a catalog of music that includes a series of mixtapes, full-length albums, and collaborations. That catalog is responsible for the beginning of business ventures and relationships with major Hip Hop icons, Special Ed and Kool Rock Ski to be specific. Immediately after catching wind of City’s music, Ed signed him as the first artist under his label SEMedia.

It doesn’t stop at music for City The Great, in fact, the NY Stapleton is thriving as CEO for Certified Nation Entertainment and Co-orchestrater for the Annual Classic Hip Hop and R&B Cookout in partnership with legendary Kool Rock Ski (The Fat Boys).  “He keeps me young and motivated to keep pushing and creating.” – Kool Rock Ski

Both Special Ed, Kool Rock Ski, and other major Hip Hop pioneers are impressed with City’s ability to reach the masses, worldwide via honest, compelling storytelling that brings the elements of Hip Hop back to the forefront.

City The Great is driven to expand his artistry and role as CEO to bridge the generation gap in Hip Hop. His mission is thoroughly supported by his mentor Special Ed.
