We had a chance to check out the music from Donald Glover’s “PHAROS” show in advance, but for those of you waiting for Gambino to deliver a hailstorm of new bars you were probably caught off guard. Nonetheless, the Childish One still comes through with a compellingly funky album you won’t stop playing anytime soon. In a day and age of disposable tracks, that’s good news indeed. So take a soulful journey with the actor/rapper/writer and all around entertainer on “Awaken, My Love!”
