Cydney Poitier – “Point of View” album review

“Point of View” is an album that a significant number Hip Hop music aficionados would appreciate.  This album is for that individual who appreciate Hip Hop music that has that early 1990’s energy and lyrical ability.  In addition, the writer of this review is impressed that the names of the songs are movie titles of the famous Bahamian-American thespian.
Album Standouts:
“Pressure Point” is a song that incorporates a gritty beat and hardcore lyrics.  Specifically, I like the line of “…youngings get a record deal and get extorted/you don’t want those problems can’t afford it/Tekashi 6ix9ine going to record it…”  In addition, you can see the video for “Pressure Point” here: https://insomniacmagazine.com/cydney-poitier-releases-pressure-pointvideo/
“Skit #2” the line “…artist inspired by the artist…”  Basically, think about the name of this performer.
“Blackboard Jungle,” in a nutshell, Cydney Poitier is reminding us that lyrics still matter in hip hop music.
“No Way Out” deals with the a segment of Hip Hop performers/supporters who are not impressive.  Instead these people are just weird. – T-Ski
