Rising hip hop/pop artist Cyrus Dobre is kicking off his solo career the right way. His debut song just dropped on Friday, June 19 and is called “Goin’ Up,” featuring Tory Lanez. The successful YouTube star is already making his venture into the music with A-list industry players and making his voice known.
The infectious new track is definitely one that listeners will not be able to get enough of. While Lanez delivers some memorable bars on the track, the energetic tune showcases Dobre’s creative delivery as a songwriter, and displays his efforts to put together some catchy bars as well. The song allows fans to get a sense of his talents as well as musical direction.”Goin’ Up” is the lead track ahead of his upcoming EP titled ‘Next Level.’
As far as what’s on the way next for the artist, Dobre said that he is working on his debut EP, titled Next Level and revealed that fans can expect a project that they will be able to “sing, dance, and live to.” In his next project, Dobre wants to continue to show off his lyrical skills while creating upbeat anthems that people can vibe to.
“The message I hope the audience takes away is to live your dream,” Dobre said in a recent interview. “Live life to the fullest, live with no regrets, and work hard and you’ll get what you want. Don’t be scared to take your life to the next level.”
