One of the biggest collectives of the ’90s was the Hit Squad. Founded by Hip Hop legends EPMD, Parrish Smith and Erick Sermon were undeniable giants in their genre that had a knack for spotting and nourishing immense talent. Their stable of acts was busting at the seams with panache. Hit Squad alumni Redman, Das EFX, and Keith Murray all brought distinctive styles to the fold. Another one of the crew’s finest lyricists is K-Solo. His lyrical wordplay and stylistic delivery was not to be rivaled. Here, he shines brightly on the 90’s relationship classic “Your Mom’s is in my Business.”
