Jerry Heller, infamously known as the manager of pioneering rap group N.W.A., passed away Friday at the age of 75. As co-founder of Ruthless Records with the legendary Eazy E, Heller gained enormous success until accusations of stealing from the group led to his eventual ouster. Heller later filed a $110 million defamation lawsuit against the producers of “Straight Outta Compton” for what he deemed a false and negative portrayal of his character & the events surrounding the origin of the group, but the majority of his suit was shot down in court.
