Oscar nominated actor, Paul Giamatti has signed on to star as Jerry Heller in F. Gary Gray’s upcoming N.W.A. biopic, “Straight Outta Compton.” For those who might not remember (or never knew), Heller co-founded Ruthless Records with Eazy-E and was responsible for both signing and managing the group. When N.W.A. eventually broke up, Heller was cited as the main reason, due to supposedly playing one member against others and alleged “creative accounting.”
Most recently, Giamatti played The Rhino in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” Here’s a clip from his appearance in the movie plus an N.W.A. throwback video, “100 Miles And Runnin’.”
