1) ANKHLEJOHN spit rhymes of fury over BIG GHOST LTD’s blazin’ production for a raw, hardcore heater called “The Yellow House.” Gritty bars & beats make this a MUST LISTEN for underground fans who eschew light-hearted fare in favor of a journey to the darkside. When a joint is this good you’re compelled to sit back and listen. The impassioned pair’s “Van Ghost” album touched down on solid ground this past Friday. Let us be the first to declare the project an instant classic on arrival.
2) CODENINE x PARANOM deliver a “Cornucopia” of dope beats & rhymes on a Chronic Tone laced mega track! It’s time to throw on that “Million Dollar Mink” you had stashed away & shake a tailfeather in the mini mansion of your dreams! The lyricists excel in elegant emceeing over plush soundscapes. In other words, bring that model chick home & get busy with this playing in the background. Get the money, get the dollar bill & watch the crew get ill!
3) SULLY NOMAD gets his ESPN on with a Stu Scott tribute called “Stats&Highlights!” The power spitter adds drums AND dope rhymes to some commercial break s**t for a winning entry on the countdown! Hands down, this joint is FUNKY! The Hammerhead Shark of lyricism bites into new sonic flavor & scores one for the home team!
4) CANIBUS sounds like he was locked away in a dungeon & broke out of chains for the sole purpose of rippin’ apart the Thanos Beats produced heater “Anagram Phoenix!” The high-powered banger puts the BOOM in boom bap with a monstrous beat that spurs the savage spitter to spew venom all over the booth with unhinged intensity! Look up in the sky & you’ll see a lyricist ascending to new heights. The phoenix has risen from the ashes to reign over the underground for eternity!
5) 9th Prince doesn’t care who you are because he’s here to declare “War On Everyone!” When you’ve been in the game as long as he has but never got the props you deserve you’re bound to get upset. 9th Prince channels all that rage into a powerful track that blows away his competitors and sets the record straight about his impressive skill set on the mic! If you want to battle now YOU’RE STUPID! Sit your ass down & fall in line!
6) SUAVE THE GOD & SULLY NOMAD show “No Fear” on a street certified GIALLO POINT laced underground gem! The emcees are “knockin’ beats out the park” with solid flows and creative content that immediately catch your attention! It’s lyrical extravagance propelled by audio opulence of the highest order. Don’t be scared. Just LISTEN below!
7) ESTEE NACK plays in the cut like “Hide N Seek” while smacking up competitors over SHARP powered sonic psychedelia! The one man lyrical battalion rolls over his enemies with such force that back up is never needed. Once he pulls out the mic all challengers wave the white flag to surrender. Run & try to hide…but Estee Nack will seek you out & DESTROY you!
8) CRAVES, CHAMP, and DEITY COMPLEX deliver a funky lyrical workout on soulful CERTAIN.ONES heat called “DISCO FRIES!” The mic mercenaries murder the groove with their trademark wit(“steps ahead/that’s a shoo-in!”)and boundless energy! Lose control as they drive you outta your mind. Ride a new wave of adventure & dance the night away!
9) FASTLIFE drops a magnum opus mic takeover on the ZOOMO laced “Hood High!” Fueled by pure aggression, the rhyme warrior gets barbaric with the beat & blows smoke clouds into the faces of the unfortunate emcees who stepped up to battle! Lost souls are caught up at the crossroads while FastLife & Zoomo speed past them to the finish line!
10) PREACH JACOBS & SKYZOO promote pride, empowerment, and self-love on the Tall Black Guy laced gem, “The Black!” Spirited production & jewel encrusted bars of fury launch the track to greatness & ensure you’ll keep hittin’ REWIND.
