Insomniac Magazine’s Hip Hop Weekly Top Ten 5/14/18

Don’t Sleep On These New Hip Hop Releases

Insomniac Magazine delivers ten tracks that are light years ahead of the pack! Check out the latest list below!

1) ESTEE NACK x CRUCIAL THE GUILLOTINE hit the ground running without EVER looking back on the CODENINE & DANIEL SON featured mastercut, “JORGERAMOS!” Propelled by an ill sonic backdrop that CRUSHES all others, the supreme lyricists shine their god presence on the track and take over the chart! Crucial keeps the “Novela” heat burning while the triumvirate of talent drop breathtaking bars you WISH you wrote! We used to think perfection didn’t exist. But all it took was 3 minutes and 57 seconds to prove us wrong!

2) DANIEL SON, SAIPHER SOZE & DRE BARRS deliver mass destruction on the Finn powered heater, “Molotovs!” The A-List level lyricists lead an all out assault on the explosive track & leave the mic smokin’! 3 very different rhyme styles add a special flavor to this deadly sonic cocktail. Salute the creators & gear up for carnage!

3) DJ STYLUS throws fans into a “Rap Daze” with a brand new heater featuring RAS KASS & EMS’ M-DOT & REVALATION! The “Pas Si Nase” power gem flaunts a funky, triumphant soundscape that fuels the heralded spitters to cut loose & dominate the scene! REAL Hip Hop’s in the building!!! Put your hands up & keep ’em there!

4) RECOGNIZE ALI linked up with AGALLAH to decimate a B-Sun powered banger called “Peruvian Flakes!” The rhyme titans employ street knowledge and a barrage of dope bars to ensure their product’s always in high demand! Look around all you want but ya can’t find this type of cut anywhere else. “S**t is pure. That’s why customers come back for more!”

5) AG lives in a “Magical World.” Wizards, fairy tale princesses, and magical palaces are nowhere to be found but there are plenty of dope fiends, corrupt cops, and crack hos to fill the gap! In a place where the news doesn’t visit, AG stands his ground & survives. The Bossmen laced track whisks you away in a fantasy whirlwind but it’s AG who brings us back to reality.

6) EVIILDEWER enlists PARANOM for a “Netherrealms” street heater called “The Arrival!” The ominous entree from the production juggernaut showcases an emotionally gripping soundscape layered with lyrical gems that will captivate your mind, body, and soul! If you’re looking for quality Hip Hop we’re proud to announce it’s arrived! EviilDewer & Paranom keep temperature’s rising!

7) STRO proves he’s the king of quotables as he dazzles on the Statik Selektah laced “Know The Stro!” Lines like “I pour liquor/more slicker in my drunken takes/ All pure/No flaws(floors)like the sunken place,” or “Y’all do it for jewelry & tennis shoes/ I love Beyonce but I hate Jigaboos!” will make your head do a 360 while gems like “We went from Dipsets to Dips**ts an’ young n***as aimin’ at the lens like they tryin’ to kill a cam” and “Original, a lotta ya guys on some copy s**t/ but nah, only one I (eye), La Di Da Di s**t” will blow it clean off your neck! If there’s anyone y’all should be watching it’s the young BK assassin! He’s destined to explode & Statik Selektah grants him the right amount of firepower to make it happen!

8) STONEFACE & WILLIAM COOPER symbolize “Sacrafice” with a raw BP laced banger that radiates infinite energy! The impassioned lyricists reveal the Stonehenge Mysteries & deliver bars of power! You may have to rewind a few times to absorb all the jewels of knowledge…but these emcees make the effort well worth it!

9) SERGE SEVERE lunges into action with a Gen. Erik powered mega-heater called “Say Nothing!” The Portland powerhouse bench presses the track while savagely shredding the mic like a chef at Benihana! You want that raw heat? IT’S YOURS! Take control of the volume & pump it up LOUD!!!

10) DAZ DILLINGER brilliantly updates Ice Cube’s classic “True To The Game” by sending a special diss to troubled Trump fan, Kanye West, on a scathing Product of the 90’s produced GMIXX edition. Tha Dogg Pound dynamo questions Ye’s motives & challenges him to look in the mirror and see if he recognizes the person staring back. What profits a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul? Daz shines a light on the subject with humor but the rhetoric Kanye’s spewing is no laughing matter.

Well that’s it for this week. Catch ya next time and…DON’T SLEEP!
