STAN DA MAN – You want your Hip Hop without all the bells & whistles and a direct line straight to the streets? Then Stan is the man to help you out! When those commercial cuts ain’t enough to keep you happy look up his catalog and PRESS PLAY!
SULTAN MIR – The soulful production maestro is the guiding force behind moody & reflective tracks. After one listen to his music, you’ll want to sit down & think about the effect it now holds over your life. Get lost in thought to the rhythm. Daydream about the world as Sultan supplies the score.
THANOS BEATS – Mixing otherworldly sounds with a foundation of classic break beats, the producer strikes back with the force of a tornado! His quick rise to power was all a part of the plan as he conjures dope creations with a SNAP!
THE ARCHITECT – Crafting masterpieces for Nowaah The Flood & Borvoe McMidnite comes easy for the sonic genius. The tracks he creates possess textures you can actually feel and taste. His gift to us is his presence. The fact dope music is attached to his arrival is merely an added treat.
THE AUDIBLE DOCTOR – Truly one of the most underrated aural architects in the game, the production phenomenon has become recognized as a master of crafting dark sonic landscapes with a funky edge. Whether creating an original joint or remixing an established track, the Brown Bag AllStars audio innovator puts in serious work & always shines!
THE CUSTODIAN OF RECORDS – The Grandmaster of glorious bangers! TCOR constructs monstrously hardcore sonic landscapes then sprinkles a variety of rhythmic flourishes on top. The head nod value on each track is HEAVY. It takes a brilliantly twisted mind to conceive of the joints he delivers. We’re proud to be in his asylum!
THE HISTORIAN – Who needs a beat when you can have a breath¬taking groove guide you to underground enlightenment? The innovative production maverick relies on strong rhythms & basslines to carry the weight. Smart move. When the emcees drop jewels we’re now forced to pay attention. In the pocket melodies control the momentum.
THE KURSE – Audio overlord of the underground. Stripping tracks down to their bare essence is one of the coveted producer’s many gifts. Realizing that simplicity can carry a lot of weight, The Kurse balances his constructions on soulful rhythms that negate the inclusion of a hardcore beat. The end result translates to crown jewel creations that always outshine his peers.
THEREALSKITSO – Equally as adept in rhyming, the production savage leaves blood on the studio floor with the launch of every release! Hardcore Hip Hop was just an overused term until his tracks made the phrase a reality!
TONE SPLIFF – The master producer/DJ blew up the scene in 2018 with a certified classic platter “Ardore Melodico” and a winning opus with Solomon Childs” called “The Prophet And The King”. In the studio he reigns supreme. Tone´s tracks are infectious and the quality of each production is top of the line!
TOKYO CIGAR – Initially popping up on our radar with his ill collective Maggie The
7th, Tokyo Cigar has kept our heads spinning like Linda Blair in The Exorcist with his next-level audio expertise! A true beast on the boards if ever there was one…the dynamic production rebel pulls out all stops!
TWIZ THE BEATPRO – Capturing the grand scope of the big city, Twiz takes listeners into the heart of the action & leaves them there to figure things out. Gripping tales of darkness are transmitted thru your speakers via the magnificent production maven who steals the show!
2 HUNGRY BROS ¬ They´re not called Hip Hop´s Funkiest Beat Duo for nothing!!! While Deep blew our minds with sonic solo adventures, the unit´s collective strength must never be denied. Try to ignore the addictive musicality of their tracks & the rhythm will keep pulling you back in!
V DON – Crafting some of the most propulsive joints in the underground is how you remain at the forefront of the Hip Hop scene. V Don’s track record in that area is second to none. He has a clear cut direction of how a project should sound & the built-in tools to make it happen.
VHS ¬ If you´re slipping into darkness don´t expect the production beast to pull you out! If anything you´ll drift deeper into the terror of the night as his dark soundscapes take you down roads the bravest souls fear to tread. Thank God all that insidious energy goes into production. The longer he´s in the studio means less time we need to worry about watching our backs.
VINYL VILLAIN – The Villain stays on top! Underground producers can comb through all the dusty crates they want to but it doesn’t mean they’ll find anything worth sampling. Vinyl Villain, on the other hand, has a knack for discovering gems that work every time. He’s a living treasure in this Hip Hop game who possesses a dedicated love of the craft.
WAZASNICS – Heem Stogied & Sauce Heist had some of the most exciting tracks of 2018. The reason why? WAZASNICS! The best adventure of our lives was the one that occurred in our mind’s eye while listening to “Lost Souls.” After that we’ll revisit MR. Lathe Cut & our night will be complete.
WON87 ¬ The Loopkiller kept other producers on their toes by chopping beats & assassinating an endless array of samples with maniacal glee. His productions had us on the edge of our seats. If he keeps up the same pace next year we´ll be on the floor.
XTREME – “The Bobby Womack Dreams” EP is a masterpiece so pristine it should be on display at the MOMA. Nodding to the glory days of the past with a keen eye toward a brighter future, the carefully crafted(and curated) project is the perfect representation of the producer’s achievements & ambitions. If you demand truth from your music Xtreme will bring it to you. His creativity’s immense & his skills are unrivaled.
