1) OBSERVE SINCE 98 dropped an ill “Muerte De Un Salvaje” selection & enlisted JAY NICE & RU$H to rip s**t from here to eternity!!! “Hearts Of Stone” finds the warlords of lyricism gettin’ unabashedly barbaric in the booth…and who can blame ’em with a dope ass track like this?!? Y’all should know Loretta always has another bullet in the chamber & this joint shot right up to #1!!!
2) DANIEL SON & FUTUREWAVE are makin’ it REAL hard for some muthaf***as to get a spot on the Top 10! Last week they pulled a sneak attack on the set with their “Son Tzu & The Wav.God” platter & made us torpedo a worthy contender. This week they do it again with the opening sizzler titled “Son Rise!” Powered by live percussion & a hypnotic soundscape, Brown Bag Money’s resident mic god skates across the sonic scenery with surefire finesse. As he waxes nostalgic about the past while planning for the future we strap ourselves in & prepare for the ride!
3) ZAGNIF NORI has stated that his global conquest is underway & we gotta believe him if “Grand Strategy” is any indication! The “Oracle” audio triumph is brilliantly produced by SETH SILENSIR with an ill rhyme assist by KING AUTHOR & high caliber cuts by DJ ENYOUTEE! This is one of those slick bangers that will consume every fiber of your being until you obsessively replay the joint nonstop. If you have other things to do you might as well quit now…cause this track’ll keep your ears glued to the speakers!!!
4) RAF ALMIGHTY & BIGBOB bring more BIG ALMIGHTY magic to the countdown with “Verified Emcee!” GUY GRAMS joins in on the action and together they catch unholy wreck while skyscrapers topple in the distance!!! “I’m a poet like Poet in Oz”(R.I.P. to the beloved muMs)is the line that kick starts the excitement & it’s all uphill from there! Check out the ill banger from the crew. It’s a certified smash you’ll never forget!
5) ESTEE NACK & his MR. ROSE production alter-ego enter 2022 firing on all cylinders with “STREETSISWATCHING, SOIZGOD!” The moody, instrumental backdrop is the perfect track to vibe out to…but Nacky Chan upends the serene setting with a malicious mic turn that STILL has our head spinning after we first tapped in January 2nd!!! All we can say is, if the lyrical demon keeps droppin’ heat like this it’s gonna be one helluva year!!!
6) SLEEP SINATRA was made “In God’s Image” which is why he can deliver an immaculate gem like “Escapades!” LOMAN laces the proceedings with his lavish flair for production while the Dreamscape verbal voyager caresses the cut via flawless elocution. Hopeful, triumphant, and thoroughly transcendent. Just the kind of track that we need to jump start the New Year!
7) MICAH WRITE & SMOKEINTHEEYE completely pulled a Keyser Soze on us!!! We were expecting your run of the mill underground platter…but the sheer magnitude of intensity their new project radiates is beyond all seismic activity!!! “Live Many Times Die Many Times” is a masterwork of epic proportions & that’s a statement all true heads shouldn’t take lightly. What they achieved on this opus is worthy of endless accolades so we’ll begin with a well-earned spot on the list! “Gangstalkers”(featuring OBIJUAN)was one of the highlights on an album containing many. SKUNKP32 supplies layered soundscape savagery so compelling you’ll be left salivating for more. That leaves the lyricists around to get some s**t started & they don’t hesitate to kick in the door!!!
8) It’s difficult for us to remember what we were up to in “04′” but we recall in vivid detail exactly what SQUEEGIE O was doing!!! The reason for that can be completely attributed to the lyrical pugilist’s dope new EP selection expertly conceived & crafted by BLAQ KNIGHT! Reminiscing about years past puts everything in perspective when you look around & remember you’re the only one left. Days long gone are forever etched in your memory. It’s all about the game of survival!
9) CHE NOIR is as brilliant behind the boards as she is on the mic which means the Trust Gang track murderer is virtually unbeatable! We take that back. Let’s remove the “virtually” out of our declaration & just say that she’s straight up invincible!!! On this sizzler from the upcoming “Food For Thought” opus, Che joins TCF Music Group comrades RANSOM & 38 SPESH at a “Table For 3” that will have fans feastin’ all month! The heads of their enemies are spread out on silver dinner trays. Pull up a seat. The competitions’ about to get served!!!
10) DANIEL SON can do no wrong. That’s why enigmatic producer GHOST NOTES enlisted him for duty & emerged with a surefire winner!!! The icing on the cake is the addition of LORD APEX who playfully smacks around the groove with swift lyrical dexterity! What makes “Pop A Lock” so dope is the way the MCs transform their flows into musical instruments that merge with the highly impressive track. Ghost Notes has his finger on the pulse of the underground. Brace yourself for an endless stream of creativity!
