The triumvirate of terror slide all over the hypnotic head nodder as they bury the competition 6 feet deep. Your mama will even want in on the action! She’ll bake cookies for the crew then spit on the opposition’s grave after the funeral!
2) CONWAY THE MACHINE x BIG GHOST LTD remind all rivals “If It Bleeds It Can Be Killed” on the DJ D-STYLES featured heat rock “Toast!” Everyone’s favorite lyrical terminator gets his stride on with swift, witty lines ceremoniously bathed in Big Ghost’s dazzling display of audio opulence. There’s a line that can’t be crossed so wack rappers best tread lightly. Make any sudden moves & expect to get murked!
3) Why are so many so-called Hip Hop artists lacking? WILLIE THE KID x REALLY HIIIM get to “The Crux” of the matter on the ominous sonic sizzler “Hezekia Flow!” Willie’s celebrated mic skills are the only answer you need to explain how he rises above the glut of no-talent rappers. It’s not that these wannabes are being overshadowed…It’s just that they never possessed an ounce of artistry in the first place. They ain’t even in the game. Y’all got a lot of work to do before you can be worthy of a Really Hiiim beat!
4) KEV BROWN x J SCIENIDE “Stray From The Pack” & achieve greatness in the process! “Orange Julius Landover Mall” is located at the intersection of creativity & originality with a platinum welcome mat at the entrance. Big salute to the mic & production gods who kept the 12 track party sizzling & to DJ JON DOE for heatin’ things up on the 1 & 2’s!
5) No one expected JAMAL GASOL x QUIS STAR to be able to top themselves after the release of their mega platter “The Ghost Of Fritz.” Well, all expectations have been upended with the Deluxe Edition of the ill power opus! All of the new additions fit perfectly within the original framework of the project while imbuing it with an overabundance of fresh energy! Because of this we battled it out for a final selection & came to the conclusion it had to be the “Top Shelf Freestyle, Pt. 2!” produced by the incredible ThatBlessedGirl. Anyone regularly following this list knows that’s a controversial choice because we don’t usually include “off the cuff” heat on the chart. However, Jamal is one of those rare artists who makes us reconsider that decision every time because he redefines the type of freestyle steez that we’re used to. This dope joint amounts to a full-fledged song with supreme bars & MONSTROUS beats that held us captive for its entire one minute & 59 second runtime! Jamal proves there is no competition cause he’s simply the best!
6) L-BIZ x CASTLE MONEY BEATS receive a “Round Of Applause” from the underground for a phenomenal new track featuring spectacular cuts by TONE SPLIFF! The self-assured lyrical assault is encased in a shield of boom bap that steamrolls over the opposition with supreme samples & basslines! Their skills devour grooves. That’s why cowards lose! Clap your hands to the audio excitement & PRESS PLAY!
7) PRYME PROLIFIK, KIL RIPKIN & PRINCE PO murder you mental midgets with a DJ BEN WORKIN laced banger called “Ego Death!” The triumphant trio cast spells on the mic with a conjuring of lyrical wizardry that sweeps through the formidable structure of the underground & rips apart the rafters! This is Hip Hop at its most primal! Get set for a joint that’ll take your breath away!
8) CHUCK CHAN x SUBSTANCE810 decapitate your entire crew and leave the left over organs in body bags on the FLU powered audio gem “Deadly Medley!” The moody masterwork seeps thru the speakers and unassumingly filters into the atmosphere before the rhyme rippers bully the beat without remorse! Allow the groove to lull you into a state of tranquility before the bar slayers snuff out your very existence on the mic!
9) 36CYPHER attacks the underground with an uproarious WINO WILLY laced banger mixed & mastered by FUTUREWAVE! “BC 2020” addresses the weak ass clout-chasing culture of today while celebrating the honor & integrity of the generation that came before! Instead of masking his anger, 36Cypher dives head first into the sonic melee & exposes all you G-Rated rappers for the lame ass losers you really are! You think you’re king s**t but y’all are amateurs! You can’t be the mic beast so don’t even try!
10) We were about to close out the countdown when KING MAGNETIC x TONE SPLIFF bumrushed the set to yell “DUCK” muthaf***as!!!! The mic murderer has been slaughtering the booth with dope joints week after week & when we heard this one it was a no brainer that the banger would make the list! Along with KM’s ill rhymes you can also look forward to a tour de force from Tone on the turntables! We don’t advise you to EVER think of battling King Magnetic but if you do just know that you’re messin’ wit’ the wrong one!!!
