1) JAY ROYALE & ETO blew away the competition on a Ray Sosa powered joint called “Ooowop!” The full throttle lyrical assault will leave no doubt in your mind that these deadly spitters are 2 of the best the underground has to offer! The invincible duo serve it to ya raw with the great DJ Grazzhoppa revving up the action on the 1 & 2´s!
2) Remixes enter our chart on extremely rare occasions…but when FARMA BEATS is the man performing the musical makeover a placement on the countdown is all but assured! The ROME STREETZ & SMOOVTH “Lead Between Your Eyes”(Remix) is the perfect example of how to do everything right! The track is a high¬energy boom bap masterpiece that will keep your head nodding throughout the two and a half minute runtime while you marvel at the lyrical masterminds who bring their A¬game everytime!
3) DAPZINI enlisted CHRIS CRNZA for the “Operation Mogul” mega¬banger “Diamond Heist” and stole the show with undeniable heat that can´t be topped! The frantic pacing of the track will induce paranoia and cause sweat to trickle down your forehead. Fxck a Grammy…Give ém an Oscar because they created a cinematic experience you´ll never forget!
4) VINNY VINDETTA, ILL CONSCIOUS & SUPREME CEREBRAL call out rappers selling out the culture on a phenomenal new joint titled “BlacKKKlansmen Remix!” The lyrical swordsmen brilliantly break down the problems permeating the Hip Hop industry and boldly express what so many of us are feeling. Soulless entities are being paid to destroy everything Hip Hop´s forefathers worked hard to create…but as long as Vinny, Ill Conscious & Supreme Cerebral are around the foundation of the underground will keep building!
5) DJ CAESAR x HUS KINGPIN transmit jazzy vibes as we admire from afar on the new gem “Stronjay!” Hus delivers on the laid back, abstract front while summoning otherworldly energy to grant his loyal Wave followers another hit! Don´t reflect too hard on the meaning. Just chill out and enter the zone.
6) VINYL VILLAIN conjures an ominous soundscape of epic proportions as MAGNO GARCIA, KING AUTHOR & CODENINE weave gripping tales of street life on “The Professional!” As darkness befalls the city chaos ensues into the twilight hours. Armed with an arsenal of lyrics at the ready, these underground avengers reveal the evil that goes bump in the night.
7) CRIMEAPPLE x producer PRE98AARON hit us with a soul¬stirring gospel¬tinged tour de force titled “Banco Popular!” The Manteca mic specialist delivers another rousing rhyme onslaught as he plots out his path to the top. As far as we´re concerned he´s already there but for now we´ll salute & say “keep rising!”
8) DAPZINI’s second “Operation Mogul” masterpiece features a powerful performance from PRO ZAY! “Usual Suspects” delivers a grimey sonic backdrop and raw, guttural rhymes so razor sharp they will slit your throat upon listening! It´s perfect music for a party or a killing…which is appropriate since Pro Zay murders the track!
9) ELOH KUSH x RAY WEST join forces with 60SECOND ASSASSIN & JOHN ROBINSON to drop knowledge and deliver “Esoteric Essayz” on a magnificently jazzy power gem called “Circle 7!” Lyrical manna is transmitted from the heavens into our speakers to feed true Hip Hop Heads worldwide. It´s underground heat to the fullest! Let us all bathe in the glorious sound.
10) CA$ABLANCA closes out the proceedings with sonic luxuriousness laced by Kheyzine! “Stand By…” takes listeners on an emotional excursion powered by moody synthesizers and of course Cas´ dope rhymes! Take flight & witness the emcee´s rapid ascent!
