1) Before setting the tone for a “Netflix & chill” experience ya better bring the action back to the block with “The Mecca!” The streaming giant’s “Forty-Year Old Version” flick contains a Mass Appeal mega blast that showcases STYLES P, GHOSTFACE KILLAH, REMY MA, NAS, DAVE EAST & the film’s writer & director RADHAMUSPRIME (Radha Blank) over dope production from DA BEATMINERZ! When these powerhouses unite it’s pure magic on the mic. Their paranormal pen game scares away the competition!!!
2) A few weeks ago BENNY THE BUTCHER leaked a HIT-BOY laced track featuring LIL WAYNE that appeared to be missing an extra verse. As it turned out, BIG SEAN was the mystery celeb on the joint that’s befittingly labeled as “Timeless!” Benny bodies the set, Weezy wakes up the masses, and Big Sean takes a sly jab at Massa Ye. This is what happens when true lyricists get down. Do we really need to tell ya PRESS PLAY?
3) It seems that clothing imprints are putting out the best music these days!!! REAL BAD MAN hits ya with fly material to wear AND listen to as they link up with CRIMEAPPLE for the “On High Alert Vol. 3” heater “Chicken Stacks!” The action-packed gem is so funky it makes the mic god skate around the set at top speed while spittin’ stream of consciousness bars of lyrical supremacy! You can’t just listen to this joint one time. You’ll be blastin’ the muthaf***a all day!
4) AGALLAH x EPMD shoot up the charts with a legendary collabo heater titled “Top Gun!” The crew deliver a tight display of raw rhymes that bring energy to the set & mesh perfectly with the slow-rolling, soulful track. It’s Hit-Squad, Def Squad, Propain in your lungs! Y’all gots to chill cause these MCs mean business!
5) MAGNO GARCIA x CHAIRMAN CHOW emerge victorious with a mega blast of heat titled “Mordecai Blessings!” Lyrical royalty’s in the building as Magno flaunts superior flows over a supreme soundscape transmitted straight from the astral plane! It’s one minute and 39 seconds of pure sonic ecstasy. We feel blessed that they sent it our way!
6) Ohhhh, so now y’all wanna show love to BUB ROCK? Where were you last year?!? The lyrical kingpin addresses fly-by-night friends & fake ass people consuming his life on the TROX powered gem “Peace Of Mine!” As the heralded bar slinger pours his soul into the music he can’t help but wonder if you’re really listening? This level of talent requires the highest degree of blood, sweat, and tears…so pardon him if he steps back for a minute. Bottom line is don’t be concerned & mind your own business. He’ll address your ass when he’s good & ready!
7) Some meals are fine the way they are then there are others that require “Xxtra Duck Sauce.” RHINOCEROS FUNK knows exactly what it takes to create a sonic feast. He enters the kitchen with master chefs THE MANORAIL, chops up beats and samples, adds some spicy lyrics to the mix and serves a mouthwatering cuisine to the masses. When digging into “Abstract Funk” you’ll be treated to the type of high grade bars & delicious production you can’t find anywhere else. Want another plate? Hell, we ain’t mad at ya! 8) Queens & Brooklyn bumrush the set as ROCK MECCA & RUSTE JUXX bring the heat on “Man-O-War!” DJ DJO-ONE keeps the production strictly hardcore then clears a pathway for the mic rippers to violently tear apart the scenery! Rock & Ruste don’t just rhyme on the mic. They also burn down the booth & kidnap your mama!!! This is how the east coast rocks! There’s a war goin’ on & it’s raging non-stop!
9) ELCAMINO gives listeners of taste of what to expect from his “Sacred Psalms” project with a 38 SPESH powered joint called “What I Be On!” After recent downtempo cuts, it’s dope to hear the lyricist reemerging with high energy heat for the underground!
