1) Wu-Tang affiliate REMEDY enlists GHOSTFACE KILLAH, INSPECTAH DECK, SOLOMON CHILDS, METHOD MAN, STREETLIFE, MASTA KILLA & CAPPADONNA for a maniacal mic massacre called “Crazy 8’s!” Laced by DANNY CAIAZZO & Remedy himself, the track lunges from the speakers to throttle you by the throat!!! If there’s one lesson to be learned from this joint it’s that the Clan ain’t nuthin’ to f*** wit’. Ghost has been thuggin’ it out since he was a toddler, Deck gives Bobby Drake the cold shoulder, Solomon’s spittin’ venom at the opposition, Remedy’s burying all the rappers he murked, Meth’s plantin’ punchlines on ya face, StreetLife’s got the F.B.I. on the run, Masta’s killin’ wit’ ease & Cap’s making MCs s*** in their pants! Hey, it’s just another day at the office for the crew but to everyone else this joint’s CRAZY!!!
2) AGALLAH has been searing sonic soundscapes on the regular. But on his new “Alvarez” explosive he relentlessly assaults the track to such an extreme that it spits up blood & cries out begging for mercy!!! The twist here is that he produced the joint which means that Ag’s just as deadly on the boards as he is in the booth! Long-time fans already know how he gets down but unsuspecting rappers always fall prey to the assassin!!!
3) U.G. paid his dues AGES ago & shined brightly on countless Cella Dwellas adventures! That’s why we’re elated he’s still part of the scene & shakin’ up s**t like there’s no f**kin’ tomorrow! The incomparable NICK WIZ supplies the heat for their current project & the only word to describe it is “Metabolic!” The lyrical executioner pounces onto Nick’s unhinged production then takes the reins and rides it to the top of the charts! We never cared much about biology before this song…but the chemistry’s definitely workin’ between these underground titans!
4) RJ PAYNE went back to his battle roots & wrangled up bar beasts REED DOLLAZ, TAYROC, MARV WON, AYE VERB & DNA for a DJ DOO WOP featured banger called “Bloodsport!” If the lyrical smackdown wasn’t enough to set s**t off, Payne also recruited YOUNG_BANGAS to conjure up the earth-shattering joint(Yep, Stu Bangas’ 11 year old son is makin’ better beats than y’all so-called veteran producers)! The best description to showcase what happens when you press PLAY is to say that the whole affair is downright NASTY!!! Take your PC asses back home if y’all get sensitive about s**t & let RJ & the crew have their day!!!
5) OBSERVE can’t be bothered with y’all small time players in those economy seats…So when he flies ya know it’s “Business Class” all the way! UFO FEV, THA GOD FAHIM & MICKEY DIAMOND ascend to a higher level with the production king and launch lyrical gems that soar above the heavens! The trifecta of talent flaunt their omnipotence of the underground with back to back verses that stick the landing every time. They rise above the rest while rivals crash & burn!
6) Any producer going up against STU BANGAS has a “Deathwish” on his head. Now sign up for battle so we can see a “Dead Body!!!” LORD GOAT & RECOGNIZE ALI are collecting corpses while delivering rhymes & the end result is a funeral procession into the outer regions of the underground! Take a bet on these lyrical threats! All y’all wack suckas best to keep your distance!!!
7) GENERALBACKPAIN always finds stellar producers adept at crafting brilliant soundscapes. Well, the Inglewood assassin’s track record remains unbroken because this time KRUSH LOVE mans the board for a new collabo project! Joining forces as METTLE, the power duo seek to push the limits of their abilities & succeed in pushing rivals over the edge on “Suicide Watch!” The Chicago based beat maestro gifts “the MC with the godly voice” a triumphant arrangement that allows him to take flight! He bruises the ego of his enemies & leaves “A Lovely Pain” we can all enjoy!
8) Mic Master MEPH LUCIANO brings listeners into a mystical realm conjured by JAY FEHRMAN then gives CA$ABLANCA the go ahead to completely dominate the track!!! On “Medallion’s, the slick spitter & The Human Tornado deliver contrasting perspectives on the “DBLDRGNZ coliseum of sound that summons them. They both exit alive but it’s Cas who leaves behind the wreckage!!!
9) BLAQ POET & RAMZEE brought us a LOT of hits from their “Deadly As Ever” project. But we’re in battle mode today so we’re going with “Wartime!!!” The Queensbridge mic conqueror upends the entire underpinning of the underground with an endless supply of lyrical artillery aimed at the opposition! Ramzee triggers the warning sirens that incite the attack and keeps suckers at bay before Blaq Poet gears up & starts bombin’ ’em!!!
10) Just because JOHN JIGG$’ new project is called “The Preacher’s Son” don’t think he’s not in the mindset for “Manslaughter!” On the KEVLAR96 crafted powder keg, the mic warrior is positioned to kill at will & any MC could be his next victim. Y’all should know by now he’s nice on the mic. And if you can’t handle the truth he’ll slay you in the booth!
