The Artivist tests the bar slinger’s skills by supplying a track filled with ill change ups & audio excursions. Rome skillfully handles everything thrown at him as he performs deft-defying acrobatic maneuvers on the mic!
2) GENERALBACKPAIN x BODYBAGBEN have already made music magic together. Now they reunite to bring us a “New Classic” for their latest release on Respect Due Records! The “Holy Hands II” heater sounds like it’s just charging up in the opening seconds then kicks into full gear when GBP’s all consuming vocals envelop the atmosphere! The braggadocious banger reminds us of a covert operation designed to take over the underground! Mission accomplished! #HomeTeam & Ben win again!
3) FARMA BEATS x SUPREME CEREBRAL x DJ MADHANDZ display “Illustrious Patterns” for new audio excellence from “The Shadow Man” EP! On this captivating cut, three sonic titans specializing in production, lyricism & deejaying combine forces to infiltrate your eardrums with the dopest Hip Hop around! Don’t bother competing against them ’cause your s**t is basic! Farma, Bugzy & Madhandz are taking over the town!
4) Another week means another smash hit from the CERTAIN.ONES! DZL, FERAL SERGE & BOBBY CRAVES are on the check-in as they body a DJ EVI DENZ soundscape into submission! The track sounds like a game show was bumrushed by 90’s B-Boys who put the host in a headlock then remixed the proceedings with their own funky style! A “Day Off” is something we could all use at one time or another but amazingly this crew hasn’t taken one yet! That’s great because we never want them to stop! Good things come to those who hustle. You don’t have to be Kurt Russell to appreciate this kind of heat!
5) Have you ever experienced a mic god in action? Then witness ROME STREETZ dominate a sizzling soundscape from THE ARTIVIST called “Vagabonds Don’t Die!” The go-to-guy for top tier lyricism has entered the building and there ain’t nothin’ you can do to stop him! Imagine a dope artist. Now imagine four more. None of ’em are touching Rome’s skills on the mic. Here’s a middle finger to anyone who’s ever doubted!
6) KXNG CROOKED x BRONZE NAZARETH take us to the “Outer Limits” with HUS KINGPIN & KILLAH PRIEST featured heat from the “Gravitas” album. Brains spontaneously combust when this crew rips the mic! The illest bars ignite from the speakers and burn holes through the floorboards. This is that raw, uncut s**t we need & deserve! The team set the bar for lyricism then push it further!
7) SAUCE HEIST, TY DA DALE, RAHIEM SUPREME, ANKHLEJOHN, AL.DIVINO, ESTEE NACK, JAMAL GASOL & ROME STREETZ are the Dream Team we never expected & still can’t believe we got. Over an understated track produced by NES, the lyrical deities spit molten lava for six minutes straight on “1000 Shots!” We’ve played this joint over 1000 times in search of any weak links but NAH…everybody brought their A-Game! We know this was intended as a one-off but what’s a muthaf***a gotta do to get an entire album?!?
8) We knew BODYBAGBEN was an A-list producer but then he started smackin’ us up on the lyrical tip too!!! His new joint with mic beast MARK4ORD is called “You Know The Story”…and if emcees realized he could drop jewels like this they’d be begging him for a feature! The mic conquerors come correct over Ben’s self produced HEAT(to simply call it a beat is diminishing its impact)and achieve their goal of leaving us salivating for more. S**t gon’ get deep for the competition. Y’all ain’t f***in’ wit’ money!
9) RIM x MAFFEW RAGAZINO dive into a sea of ILL TAL BEATS powered griminess and keep us captivated on “Con Job!” The “Algorythyms” slow burn sizzler smolders with dark rhythms that motivate the lyricists to get raw as f**k! If you’re looking for a peaceful gem of tranquility this ain’t for you. But if you want that hardcore Hip Hop s**t this smash hit is right in your ballpark!
10) MIC BLES has MASSIVE hits on his new platter “Immortal Auditory” but one joint we kept coming back to was the PLANET ASIA featured heat blast “City Of God!” The SCIENCE GREEN powered banger is backed by DJ ROME’S incredible achievements on the 1 & 2’s & flaunts “ice-pick vocals” from the devastating duo! You haven’t heard a true underground masterpiece until you’ve experienced this gem. Welcome to the game homie. Take notice!
