2020 is almost here and we’re looking forward to a year of impressive new music. However, before we bid adieu to 2019, let this top ten be a toast to the year we’re leaving behind and to all those who can’t sleep on Hip Hop.

1. Vado f/ Benny The Butcher (prod. GP BeatBangerz) – “Gotta Wait”
Vado brings that high powered energy to the screen and mic over sizzling GP BeatBangerz’s production. If that wasn’t enough, big bar slinger Benny The Butcher serves up his signature heated slang on the Panoramic Films’ directed “Gotta Wait.”

2. Termanology f/ Eto & Tek of Smif-N-Wessun (Prod. Statik Selektah) – “Nobody”
Termanologybrings heated bars along with fellow rhyme killer Eto and mic vet Tek. On the production tip, Statik Selektah once again delivers a supreme soundscape on “Nobody” off of the “Vintage Horns” album.

3. Eto, BodyBagBen, Rome Streetz – “Represent”
Eto is a powerhouse on the mic and BodyBagBen sizzles soundscapes. Off the “Integrity” project, which is chock full of impeccable joints that are sure to impress the most discerning Hip Hop aficionados, there is a track featuring rhyme phenom Rome Streetz. Check the sonic action as these Hip Hop practitioners “Represent.”

4. Hus Kingpin & SmooVth f/ Eto & Big Twins (prod. Giallo Point) – “Allustrious”
Two top tier rhyme champs unleash a bevy of bold bangers on “The Connect Tape.” On “Allustrious” they’re joined by heavy rap rippers Eto & Big Twins. You know all of their steez, it’s an all-out lyrical assault. Production is handled by underground sound artisan Giallo Point.

5. Planet Asia (prod. Nicholas Craven) – “20,000”
Check the mic maestro Planet Asia flex on his latest stinger “20,000” off the “Medallions” album.  Don’t sleep on Hip Hop’s most prolific master bar spitter and potent horn laced production by Nicholas Craven.

6. EL Maryacho, Pace Won, Nowaah The Flood – “No Time”
Woah! It’s all here. Exquisite production from EL Maryacho, verbal dynamics from Pace Won and Nowaah The Flood with expert cuts by Tone Spliff. Check the heavy bars and dope soundscape on “No Time” off the EP of the same name.

7. Guillotine Bars x Ca$ablanca (prod. Paul GOD) – “Circles”
Guillotine Bars and Ca$ablanca unleash a hailstorm of bars on a Paul GOD potent platter. Dip into some serious Hip Hop mastery on “Circles.”

8. Lord Juco x Bohemia Lynch f/ Bub Rock & Codenine – “Gracery”
Rap warlord Lord Juco brings the grimiest bars along with underground rap pros Bub Rock and Codenine on this dope track produced by Bohemia Lynch. Don’t sleep on this banging track off of the “Shadows 2” EP.

9. Certain.Ones (f/ MortxGrim, Bobby Craves, Feral Serge, Vintage) – “Big Rig”
Certain.Ones brings the straight-up classic era boom bap production, impeccable delivery, and authentic vibes. MortxGrim, Bobby Craves, Feral Serge, and Vintage show no sign of slowing on their dedication to the craft. The crew serves up the goods on “Big Rig” that will please the most discerning Hip Hop head.

10. Killy Shoot x General Back Pain (Prod ChimBeatz) – “PainKill”
It’s a #Hometeam hotbed of serious audio action as Killy Shoot & GeneralBackPain join forces to destroy all opposition on the ChimBeatz powered “PainKill” off the EP by the same name. Experience the sonic excitement below!
