2) SUBSTANCE810 & SQUEEGIE O are “Makin Waves” with a colossal audio explosive called “Crude Dialog!” On a platter boiling over with Top 10 potential, we chose this cut because of the laser-focused rhyme assault & vivid imagery the verbal vigilantes manifest. It doesn’t stop there. The production on the track is so sharp & insanely powerful that it nearly blasted us thru the wall & into our neighbor’s living room! Individually or together, these guys are two incredible MCs. We predict a long run for them both with accolades aplenty!
3) THE MUSALINI x O FINESS leave competitors in the dust as they go “Cross Country” on a GLOOMY SXNDAY excursion! The power-spittin’ profiteers make for the perfect partners-in-rhyme with merciless lyrics & seriously savage flows. Their road to the riches might get rocky…but they’ll do whatever it takes to get the bag!
4) Tornado. Earthquake. Volcano. Name a natural disaster & none can compare to the havoc wreaked by GENERALBACKPAIN, DEUCE HENNESSY, LUPUS DEI & KILLY SHOOT on the TONE BEATZ crafted heat rock “El Nino!” The “Cumulus” power cut finds the HomeTeam Heavyweights in top form as they flex a diverse range of styles on the highly impressive track. Ya can’t avoid gettin’ caught up in the whirlwind of the unstoppable crew. The storm’s a-coming & there’s nowhere left to hide!
5) When you work relentlessly & completely dedicate yourself to your craft it’s bound to pay off! Take JAY HOLLY x PRIME for example. The mic beasts are on a continuous grind to bring ya that dope s**t & through the tireless efforts of production mastermind VITTO_HIMSELF fans are now gifted “Free Smoke!” All ya need to know is that the lyrics are top notch! They leave the booth blistering with intense heat that can only be contained by Vitto’s impenetrable soundscape!
6) A true lyricist possesses the ability to make you FEEL every word. That’s definitely the case with SH4MEL (who showcases a delivery so passionate he could start his own religion)! Over god level production from sonic deity JON GLASS, the mic messiah stakes his claim for being the best MC around & Lord knows we believe him! “D.I.X.O.” is no ordinary song. It’s a mission statement of the power, money, and respect he’ll obtain this year. There are “No Enemies Just Obstacles.” If you’re not on his good side pray you don’t cross his path!
7) LITTLE VIC, VINNIE PAZ & BILLY DANZE hit us wit’ so much heat on their new collabo track that we poured a mug of “Kool Aid” over our muthaf***in’ head just to cool off!!! Hard rhymes coalesce with an angelic sample & a heavy dose of boom bap to manifest a MUST-LISTEN power cut that’s been on REPEAT since the first listen. Accept no substitute for authentic Hip Hop. Now PRESS PLAY & satisfy your thirst!
8) PORTER HAUS PRODUCTIONS is back at it with THE WALKERS doing damage on “#900!” This is one of those colossal cuts that’s so massive you need the underground’s cream of the crop to participate! WAVY DA GHAWD lays down the production gauntlet with THE STANDOUTS & DON CARRERA adding to the behind the boards excitement! TY FARRIS, BUB ROCK, CHYNA STREETZ, ROME STREETZ & EDDIE KAINE all get ill on the joint while RIM keeps the hotline flooded! Ya can bet on PHP to win every time. NICOLE PORTER keeps her ear to the street!
9) “The Summoning” is near & soon all will kneel at the feet of the TRIAD! On “Trident Strike, “MADO, INDIGO PHOENYX & JAE HUSSLE exhibit their lyrical dominance on a KWENU BEATS track that encloses you in its sonic prism and beats the hell outta ya for turning up the volume!!! This is some lethal s**t so tread lightly. Renounce your false idols & bow down to the gods!
10) CONFUCIUS MC closes out the countdown in the most celebratory way possible with an Olympic styled marathon of murderous rhymes from SONNYJIM, VERBZ & JEHST on the KEOR METEOR powered heat blast “Lanterns!” There are many posse cuts that made an impact on the underground but few can compare to the monstrous craters this joint left behind. The production on this track is straight up dope & lines like “Tired eyes pried wide shut by the equipment/Rapid Eye Movement now I’m losing my religion” had our minds completely blown!
