HONEY DINERO, CROTONA P, THE BAD SEED & MIKE MARTINEZ know that “All The Pieces Matter” on a CULTURE CORNER presentation featuring colossal cuts By TONE SPLIFF!!! The jazz-infused sonic juggernaut boasts so many dope rhymes that your mind will keep ’em on REWIND while reciting ’em in your sleep!!! It’s “a little boom bap and a little street” and most definitely our top pick of the week!!!
2) DAVE EAST & RANSOM’s collabo opus might be titled “The Final Call” but we pray it’s not the last time they team up again!!! On the PROPHECY powered “Fairwells,” our dauntless defenders of Hip Hop say goodbye to reckless lifestyles and friends who made fatal decisions while soaking up the sunshine & ushering out the darkness. The powerful chords of the track trigger melancholy waves of nostalgia but the lyrics keep us hopeful for the future!!!
3) SUPREME CEREBRAL links up with GRIME LORDS’ very own BORN UNIQUE for a lethal LEVEL 13 laced heat rock titled “Devil’s Playground!!!” The elite lyricists stay loaded with verbal ammunition that violently rips apart every competitor in sight! Dance with the devil and you’re bound to get burned. it’s one helluva track to set s**t off for 2025!!!
4) There’s been a “Death In The Valley” and FUZZY ED, SPIT GEMZ & DUSTIN DEF will ward off all evil on “The Way Home!” This track contains the perfect combination of supreme rhymes, phenomenal production, and next level cuts with the head nod factor pushing past 1 million! There are some forces on earth no man can withstand and the track below surely counts as one of ’em!!!
5) There are “Too Many Rappers” so JAY NICE & FREDRO STARR knock ’em off the board one by one!!! The minimalistic soundscape taps into the most primal aspects of the mic avengers and unleashes a fury that snatches the souls of mere mortals!!! Jay & Fredro are the epitome of Hip Hop while all you wack rappers look like nothing but clowns!!!
6) Ain’t gonna ever be another one like “Pun” and DOZA THE DRUM DEALER makes sure you’ll NEVER forget it!!! The triumphant mega banger sounds like the ultimate celebration for the ground-breaking lyrical legend and who better to honor him than an artist/producer building up a formidable legacy of his own!!!
7) DOM PACHINO’s mic skills can only be described as “Supernatural” as the entire underground praises his new joint “Oh Lord!!!” The MR. TERA produced track is that hardcore, aggressive s**t ya need to kill the corny output of commercial radio! You better count your blessings and drop to your knees! Thank God Dom Pachino walks the earth!!!
8) It’s a “Shame” people aren’t as talented as QUEEN HERAWIN & OPEN MIKE EAGLE!! The KING REM crafted scorcher is yet another reason why you better be ready to “Awaken The Sleeping Giant” Friday, 2/28!!! Check for the self-assured lyricism and killer flows then stay for the entire audio experience!!!
9) AROZA CREW, FLIP & MARLONHIL threw a hood over our head, smacked us up, and deposited us back in the 90’s for a surefire slice of nostalgia titled “Let ‘Em Have It!!!” The crew rum rampant across the rocky boom bap landscape and remind heads what they’ve been missing in the course of two minutes and fifty-six seconds! When they ask for REAL Hip Hop let ’em have it then get ArOzA Crew to come and steal the show!!!
10) DA CLOTH is taking over with ILLAOISE, MAV & RIGS concluding the countdown with “End Credits!!!” SCRATCHNICE conjures an eerie arrangement that makes you feel like Michael Myers, Jason, and Freddy are waitin’ for you as soon as you bend the corner. The ill lyricists paint nightmarish visions to honor the horrific proceedings while the devil’s workin’ double shifts to bring down the world!!!
