Don’t Sleep On These New Releases

Insomniac Magazine gives you a front row seat inside the underground for the latest edition of the Weekly Top Ten. Gear up for action & tap in below!!!

1) When RANSOM, BOLDY JAMES & HARRY FRAUD linked up for “Live From The Roxy,” the competition packed their bags & went home! What’s the point of even attempting to rip the mic when you’re challenged by 2 lyrical gods and a production deity unlike any other! The power trio are all the way live as they bring down the house but unfortunately their opponents are dead on arrival!

2) THE MUSALINI, TERMANOLOGY, KEL & UFO FEV rock the mic on an “Uptown Bandits 2” sizzler called “Non Stop!” TERMANOLOGY & MELKS are behind the boards for this power collabo presented by elite tastemakers PAPERCHASERDOTCOM & you can absorb the intensity of the joint the second the beat drops. F**k the chitter chat & shut your trap muthaf**ka! This crew brought the feelin’ back so the underground can thrive!!!

3) ASUN EASTWOOD & EDDIE KAINE spit reality over a luxurious WIZDOME BUNITALL laced arrangement titled “INOSITOL!!!” When ya need to talk your s**t this is most definitely the track to do it to! Asun moves weight with heavy verses that allow his family to live comfortably while Eddie drops bars that make the competition throw in the towel!!!

4) KNOWLEDGE THE PIRATE blazes through the underground with an E.L.E.M.N.T. seared scorcher called “Sun God!!!” The lyrical iconoclast incinerates everything in his path and simultaneously rebuilds the entire landscape in his image! There’s no stopping the heat emanating from your speakers. Knowledge The Pirate always hits ya wit’ a steady supply!

5) When The Lord’s been good to ya you show your appreciation by droppin’ a dope track!!! BEENOFFICIALLORD & TY DA DALE do just that with the NES laced banger “Boko Haram!” Visions of violence in the streets enter your mind as deals gone wrong turn deadly! Praise The Most High for tracks like these that bring the hardcore heat into our home!!!

6) JAE SKEESE rises above his losses to reach new heights on a SUPERIOR crafted gem called “Skyscraper!!!” Self-empowerment is the theme of the track and the perfect way to manifest positive change is to speak it into existence! Jae doesn’t waste time dwelling on any naysayers threatening to pull him down. He leaps tall buildings at a single bound while all the haters get left behind, still crawling through the rubble!

7) It would take a true genius to decode the “Mind Of A Saint” so of course SKYZOO is more than up to the task! This “Snowfall” themed “Give You Anything” deluxe heater is meticulously crafted by THE OTHER GUYS & DYLAN GRAHAM with every sonic flourish adding extra nuance to the song. A track like this holds heavy replay value in our heart & mind so adding this gem to the chart was a given the second we heard it!

8) PRIMO PROFIT X MICHAELANGELO join forces with CRIMEAPPLE for an exotically melodic journey into the underground titled “Tell Me Where You’re Going!” The stream of consciousness rhyme style is well-suited for a soundscape that transcends both time and space. In your face lyrical attacks contrast perfectly with the laid back musicality. They’re obviously going to the top & we’re here for it!

9) REEK OSAMA x MACHACHA bring “Mass Destruction” to all opposition on an ill banger with accompanying visual courtesy of SUN TZU! The monstrous mic massacre kicks into high gear with a savage onslaught of lyricism that leaves corpses scattered across the interior of the underground! Reek & Nack ain’t cuttin’ y’all no slack! We hope to God they ain’t comin’ to get you!

10) FERAL SERGE, FAZEONEROK & BOBBY CRAVES stand watch over the underground on a CHEF MIKE crafted heater called “ICU2!!!” The new CERTAIN.ONES sizzler removes the blindfold from the audience and allows them to witness the modern day f**kery of the music industry in real time. Take a load off your shoulders & experience authentic Hip Hop in action. See it for yourself & PRESS PLAY!

Well that’s it for this week. Catch ya next time and…DON’T SLEEP!
