2) It wouldn’t be a false statement to declare DJ MUGGS X ROME STREETZ’ “Death & The Magician” platter a certified masterpiece. But if you have any doubts about the true merit of the project all ya need to do is PRESS PLAY on “Ace Of Swords!” The track is literally bubbling over with heat from the very first second. By the time the beat kicks in & Rome gets the rhythm in a chokehold, it becomes clear they’ve elevated Hip Hop to a higher plateau!
3) TESLA’s GHOST channels his inner mutant with the Legion inspired “Amahl Farouk” banger “Mirror Image!” Stream of consciousness flows belie the lyricist’s ruthless intentions as he unleashes his full wrath on the mic. KASHMERE balances out the MC’s brilliant bars with paramount production. Gear up for a sonic adventure that traverses the realm of space & time!
4) There are PLENTY of MCs out there lookin’ for a battle. But challenging BARBARIC, WEAPON E.S.P., ALVAREZ MASTERMINDED & MAGNO GARCIA means you obviously have a “Death Wish!” Honestly there’s no other reason to touch a mic in their presence so ya might as well bow down in defeat! J.F. loads up an arsenal of sonic weaponry equipped to blow a hole in your chest while DJ SHAWN TOUCH slices ya into irrelevance on the 1 & 2’s!
5) “Gold Chain Warrior” SUPREME CEREBRAL & production prime minister RECKONIZE REAL are cut from a “Different Cloth!” As they enter the arena with soul siren ANTONIA MARQUEE, they succeed in blasting the steel doors off the very hinges of the underground!!! Majestic bars, beats, and vocals merge harmoniously with emotional chords. Winning’s a part of their fabric. Excellence is interwoven within their DNA.
6) EA$Y MONEY x FABEYON have been puttin’ in work for years but droppin’ dope s**t’s “Beyond Ea$y!” On an ill banger from their album, the spitter supreme & behind the boards beast team up with underground luminaries CHILLA JONES x DJ DEADEYE for high-energy heat that will make fans feel like they can conquer the world! 7) THE QUARTER INCH KINGS X ZAGNIF NORI aren’t just powerful collaborators. They’re an unstoppable force akin to “Indestructible Iron!” On their latest track, the sonic gladiators throw down the gauntlet and take on an entire army of barbaric warriors. When the smoke clears there’s a sea of battered bodies & huddled corpses…but Zagnif & The Quarter Inch Kings always leave the scene unscathed.
8) BENNY THE BUTCHER x HARRY FRAUD debut the first single from “The Plugs I Met 2” and we should all be grateful that they’re saving Hip Hop one track at a time! F**k it, grateful ain’t a big enough word to show appreciation so they’re bringin’ “Thanksgiving” to you early in 2021. Sharp rhymes keep ya captivated while slick production simmers underneath. It’s just a quick taste of what the duo’s got cookin’!
9) This joint’s so funky we’ve been trying to get it on the list two weeks in a row & now PLANET ASIA, DIRTYDIGGS & ROME STREETZ get their time to shine on “Gunz & Razerz!” Actually EVERYDAY is their time because these guys never miss! Rome kicks off the killer steez with his magic flow(that should actually be bottled & sold at this point – maybe it could give all those wack ass rappers out there a much needed boost). Then P.A. goes ballistic on a bar-fueled bonanza of supreme sovereignty. All of this occurs over preeminent production from the dazzling DirtyDiggs on a “Block Shaman” sizzler that’s immediately unforgettable!
10) Mic juggernaut JAMAR EQUALITY joins forces with MAD1NE & BLAZY GREEN for “ORPHEUS” audio excitement titled “Blade of the pen!” It’s pure carnage in the booth as mics get ripped to shreds over a dusted breakbeat designed to steamroll over the competition. They say the pen is mightier than the sword which is why each line is lethal!
