Don’t Sleep On These New Hip Hop Releases

Insomniac Magazine supplies all the sonic fuel you need for the next 7 days. Dive into the latest edition of our Weekly Hip Hop Ten! Respect the rhythms and feel the flows. An abundance of underground excitement awaits you below!

1) DNTE puts the pedal to the metal & pulls out all the stops to deliver a stellar self-produced sizzler titled “MK Ultra!” The Falconcrest phenomenon spits LAVA over a track that contains a mix of hardcore boom bap, reggae, R & B and everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink! The supreme spitter doesn’t take the name of his label lightly because the heat’s so high on this joint that the pot’s f***in’ boiling over!

2) BODYBAGBEN obviously doesn’t sleep because the amount of audio heat he’s been delivering on a regular basis is bordering on the supernatural! The mega producer also has a flair for choosing the perfect co-conspirators to accentuate his sumptuous soundscapes…that’s why his latest undisputed smash features a dazzling display of brash bars from mic overlord ESTEE NACK! “NoseLift” will have you scrunching up your face like you smell something nasty as your head starts nodding out of control! The funky boom bap knocks you off your feet and onto the floor while Nack’s ill bars keep you mesmerized and begging for more!

3) It’s “A Cold World” that’s about to get even colder for all you wack ass emcees because ANKHLEJOHN is back on the scene with “TWOFORFIFTEEN!” All you’re gonna see are red dots as the lyrical god blows you away with Vinyl Villain produced, certified, and approved sonic satisfaction! Ankh’s whole life needs to be put on the big screen so you can cry in the theater as he shuts down your career!

4) Rappers are a dime a dozen but BORVOE MCMIDNITE is “Irreplaceable!” The MC of The Night flexes his magnificent mic technique over a triumphant AMofNRP laced soundscape that triggers cinematic visions of Silver Surfer cascading across the universe on an intergalactic mission beyond the comprehension of mortal men. Borvoe’s otherworldly delivery uncovers hidden meanings & nuance to his lyrical onslaught. Rivals who think his boasts are pure science fiction can watch him knock all competitors back down to earth!

5) FLU x CRIMEAPPLE spray the opposition with “Mustard Gas” on a dope collabo joint filtering through the underground! A supremely sinister soundscape opens the floodgates for the Manteca mic beast to sneak in and do an extensive amount of damage in a brief period of time. Flu amps up the audio intensity until your heart leaps out your chest. Crimeapple’s deadly verses sift through your eardrums & electrify your nervous system. This is authentic Hip Hop to the core!

6) SAGEINFINITE gets listeners into a 90’s vibe with the Shozae powered boom bap banger “Juiced New Jack!” Sage spits serious heat while cruising past “close-minded” foes & “finicky fans” for a dope display of lyrical showmanship you’d be hard pressed to find elsewhere. SageInfinite & Shozae are true masters of the underground. They shine a light on Hip Hop’s Golden Era while creating incomparable compositions that are built to last!

7) ILL BILL & GORETEX engage in a gamma-radiated grudge match against all other emcees as they devour the competition on “Hulk Meat!” STU BANGAS crafted this unholy whirlwind of sonic savagery & GOTDAMN it kicks ass!!! Employing super human strength and diabolical dynamism on the mic, the pissed off power spitters proceed to rip apart everything in their path! Stu pumps up the audio to keep them angry for a full activation of their lethal attack!

8) CA$ABLANCA & KILLY SHOOT strategize plans for an underground takeover as listeners get high off JF’s audio crack with a dope joint titled “SKI”…(The World Is Mine)! There’s a thin line between love & hate but the celebrated spitters have no problem crossing it as they fire off hollow tips into the crowded Hip Hop landscape. When the smoke clears Cas & Killy are the only figures who remain. No matter the situation, they’ll always be the last men standing!

9) If GENERALBACKPAIN & KILLY SHOOT are staring you down don’t think there’s gonna be any time for conversation. But hmmm…let’s just say that by some miraculous stroke of luck you do get a chance to utter a word, best believe it’ll only be to say goodbye to your ENTIRE FACE as ya get a blast of “Gun Talk” to the dome! Onaje Jordan keeps the production decidedly understated but DEADLY so GBP & Killy can wax poetic over your corpse. There’s no pump fakin’ up in this bitch. Don’t put your finger on the trigger cause it’s bound to get blown off!

10) MYKILL MIERS infects the underground with an arsenal of deadly bars on the !llmind produced banger “Viruses!” We usually reserve the final slot for a dope joint that will be embedded into the audiences’ memory for the duration of the week & beyond. Mykill’s track fits the bill by giving listeners HEAVY takeaway value with witty wordplay and double-sided lyrical darts that need to be consumed in multiple plays. There’s no vaccine that can cure this kind of disease. The rhymes & production are contagious so go out & spread the word!

Well that’s it for this week. Catch ya next time and…DON’T SLEEP!
