Luckily CERTAIN.ONES are here to chase the blues away on “Gargamel!” SCRIPZ, BOBBY CRAVES, and STRESS manifest a wealth of fully realized rhymes on WANN SKLOBI activated audio heat that left us washed ashore in a wondrous wave of nostalgia. The verse slaying virtuosos showcase so many compelling and diverse styles that it’s impossible to ever lose interest in their incredible sonic offerings. On this joint, the crew pour out a beer to us & our outstanding colleagues. Now we return the favor! Certain.Ones don’t just rep for the underground. They represent EVERYTHING authentic Hip Hop is & should be!
2) COUSIN FEO x BOHEMIA LYNCH take you from L.A. to Japan with the “YAKITORI” heat blast “Nakamura!” The Frank’s Vinyl Records release weaves sportscaster announcements & assorted screams of cheering fans into the sonic mix for a high energy game time vibe! Feo drops solid rhymes propelled forward by a laid back flow while Bohemia supplies season tickets for the audio euphoria!
3) BENNY THE BUTCHER x HARRY FRAUD don’t waste time droppin’ albums because they’re creating full-on experiences!!! For “The Plugs I Met 2,” the lyrical juggernaut & sonic visionary knew that they needed a specific MC to contribute extra finesse to a track…so they called out to the heavens and the late, great CHINX Drugz blessed them with a verse! “Overall” it adds up to a dope joint! Benny always drops so many quotables that we’ve long since Gorilla Glue’d our index finger to the REWIND button while Harry incorporates a variety of ill change ups to keep the joint percolating! Hearing Chinx’s voice is an event in itself. His choruses and bars are nothing short of straight heat! You’ll keep this one on your playlist forever!
4) When two of the underground’s most enigmatic MCS team up on a NORTHLAKE track there’s no escaping your descent into the “Dark Web!” JINNAHCIDE x DEAMS bring mass destruction to the set on a “No Lives Matter” mega heater that won’t be ignored! The arcane lyrical assassins catch bodies on a regular basis. Few men can stand up to them but many are known to fall!
5) D.R.E. COLOMBIAN RAW kicks s**t off correct by droppin’ the CA$ABLANCA featured title track to his upcoming project “PLOMO!” The lyrical executioner has been steadily building up his name on the underground & this hardcore joint adds to the entrancing allure of his notoriety! Cas, on the other hand, is already a Hip Hop staple with unrivaled skills on the mic. His most recent platter(the Cap Chino produced “Korea-Town” album)is a flawless masterwork that gets even better with each subsequent listen…so expect top quality lyricism from him each & every time!
6) WHATA MESS x NOWAAH THE FLOOD “Turn Green” with combustible lyrical energy on an EL ARCO laced sonic explosive from “The Incredible Hogan Album!” The Cocareef Records heat blast showcases a high caliber audio invasion spearheaded by the deadliest mic destroyers on the planet! You don’t have to take our word for it. Go check it out for yourself! We give you the greenlight to rush ahead & PRESS PLAY!
7) BENNY THE BUTCHER x RICK HYDE are two of the most successful Hip Hop artists in the industry…but amidst all the accolades it’s always good to take some time out for reflection. The Harry Fraud laced gem “Survivor’s Remorse” finds the B$F bar slayers lamenting locked down & fallen friends from the past. They’ve come a long way from the block but the less fortunate will never be forgotten!
8) If you enter a “DOJO” & find DANIEL SON, LORD JAH-MONTE OGBON x ETO lurking around just know you’re gonna catch a beatdown! CUNS supplies the ominous production on “Savage Monks” that signals you’ve stepped into the danger zone! The lyricists ease into the booth and issue serious threats to your very existence. Survival’s not an option. Cut your losses & get the f**k outta dodge!
9) One of the underground’s most underrated heroes returns with a brand new joint! Alpha Magneto’s SHADOW MAGNETIC goes against the grain to wreak vengeance on the opposition with a revolutionary banger called “Rebel!” This is the perfect example of the kind of track that boosts your energy & gets ya in the right mind state to crush & conquer! If you want to listen to the same bland songs every day hey, that’s your choice! But our musical selections are a lot more subversive!
10) We couldn’t end this countdown without leaving ya with serious heat from BANG BELUSHI! The “Rudy” rhyme renegade is Top 10 fresh as he rips into a stupid “Dumb” FOUL MOUTH fueled soundscape with no mercy!!! The Detroit, Michigan mic murderer assesses the sonic chaos around him and boldly strides into the eye of the tornado. Trees, homes, and lamp posts are torn asunder but Bang Belushi remains unscathed!
