5) To make a “Long Story Short,” ETO & SUPERIOR’s new collabo project is supremely DOPE! Adding to the underground excellence is an appearance from Brown Bag Money super lyricist DANIEL SON on an ill banger called “The Count!” The Toronto mic maverick has been dropping heat since DAY ONE & continues that tradition by kicking off the joint with deadly bars of destruction! Eto, who is without question one of the most cherished rising emcees on the scene, spits heated rhymes that offset his understated delivery. Why would you even try?

8) If you’re looking for respect, ANKHLEJOHN & production titan TY RELLINGTON won’t be the guys to give it to ya! Meph & Cas fathered your whole career!

10) THA SOLOIST x A DUSTY CINEMA deal with stress & anxiety through a sonic therapy session on “Trauma”(Let It Be)! The “Postrauma” powerhouse cut contains irresistibly gripping production and expressive bars that careen between a zone of triumph & depression. There’s a sense of childlike wonder present in the track’s DNA that is periodically interrupted by monstrous drum patterns & thunderstorms to pull us deeper into the darkness. Escaping harsh memories of the past is never an easy process but Tha Soloist guides us into the light by simply stating “forget, forgive, & let it be!”

Well that’s it for this week. Catch ya next time and…DON’T SLEEP!
