1) PLANIT HANK, BENNY THE BUTCHER & M.O.P. wonder “What Happened To The Streets” as they take stock of the current Hip Hop landscape & view a sea of clowns! The “Night Before Purgatory” mega cut kicks in with a bone-crushing barrage of boom bap that makes other tracks sound silly by comparison! Benny proves yet again why he’s the Superman of this underground s**t by delivering a dazzling display of instantly iconic bars! Legends BILLY DANZE & LIL FAME follow up that action with EXPLOSIVE verses of their own that reverberate throughout P.H.’s propulsive soundscape. When this crew’s in town you know the streets are protected! Benny, M.O.P., and Planit Hank hold down the hood with certified classics that heat up the block & beyond!
2) LORD JUCO, FALCON OUTLAW & OL MAN 80zz entered the studio one night with an idea & reemerged the next morning with a masterpiece! “Bun Dem” is a hardcore Hip Hop triumph fueled by a boom bap backdrop with reggae leanings and flawless lyricism! Juco must be triggering both respect & envy among peers with his rapid ascent! The acclaim is well-deserved as evidenced by the confidence & control he showcases on this relentless track. Falcon Outlaw swoops in & nearly steals the show with his energetic island patois filtered delivery while Ol Man 80zz shatters boundaries through a carefully constructed sonic framework that binds all the elements together!
3) Belfast production maverick DRAY YARD doesn’t round up the “Usual Suspects” for a power collabo. He digs a little DEEPER to enlist a diverse range of rhyming renegades who don’t just heat up the mic…they burn the whole booth down!!! GENERALBACKPAIN, KILLY SHOOT, DEUCE HENNESSY, KING COLDPACK, LORD LUMINOUS, DOT-COM INTELLIGENCE & ALL HAIL Y.T. hit ya with a hundred rounds of lyrical ammo that will blast you into next year!!! When you wake up out your coma they’ll be right there, ready to attack again! Each of these emcees possess what it takes to be on top. Dray Yard utilizes their collective talent and guides them toward sonic greatness!
4) BODYBAGBEN does it again!!! ROME STREETZ, DANIEL SON & RIGZ are on the check-in for the super producer’s latest banger “God Knowledge!” On first listen, you can’t help but think “how the f**k are they gonna spit over this?!?” We soon get our answer as the ill trio launch into gymnastic flows over the manically driven beat! They steer the groove into exciting directions & the twists and turns are all part of the fun. Gain a little knowledge of the underground & pay your respects to the young gods on the mic!
5) JAMAL GASOL teams up with RIGZ & MOOCH for Sandy Solo laced action called “Study Long Study Wrong!” The vibe is on the smooth tip as the lyricists finesse the hell out of a nostalgia inducing soundscape! Good times & bad times are reflected on with equal regard. This is a triple threat of heat you can’t be without! Stay tuned for the summertime. Jamal, Rigz, and Mooch never sweat the competition!
6) PRO ZAY serves up “3Piece” excitement on the ROME STREETZ & RIGZ featured banger “G6!” The power spitters take on Farma Beats’ flute laden production and maneuver through the soundscape’s many complexities by personalizing it with their own unique style! The emcees demonstrate the art of lyricism with finely tuned craftsmanship delivered as raw as possible. Race over to your sound system & PRESS PLAY!
7) It’s always good to keep an extra clip in the stash! NOWAAH THE FLOOD x THE ARCHITECT drop off a previously unreleased gem to the underground titled “All Wise And Civilized.” This ain’t your ordinary joint. A background check is required just for listening! When you want dope lyricism sauteed in an abundance of soulful production you know who to call. Leave that gibberish behind & get wit’ THA REAL!
8) PRO ZAY, FLY ANAKIN, and BIG KAHUNA OG bring that Worldwide “Mutant” magic to a Camoflauge Monk powered heater from the “3Piece” project! All opposition is buried six feet deep as the action ramps up to the breaking point! The high-level skill set on the mic is evident from the talent involved. Pro Zay pushes the pedal to the metal while firmly putting his foot up the competition’s ass!
9) JAY HOLLY drops razor sharp rhymes over an Envy crafted audio sizzler titled “Rare Gem!” The 90’s Golden Era inspired selection will force you to flashback to better days if you’re going through a rough time. It’s a head nod smash you’re sure to keep on repeat. The melodies graft themselves to your emotions while Jay blows the fans away!
10) THE DOPPELGANGAZ load up their “G Pack” with an arsenal of hits and bless us with a dope track called “Coffin Nails!” MATTER OV FACT & EP drop witty rhymes over a spectacularly sinister soundscape while goofing around on the set of their new visual. The cloaked rhyme assassins never fail to deliver the goods on lyrics & production & superbly set the stage for the full-length platter to come.
