Don’t Sleep On These New Hip Hop Releases

Insomniac Magazine presents a brand new week of Top 10 heat! Prime yourself for action and check out the list below!

1) WEST PHILLY FRECK, FLEE LORD, CRIMEAPPLE, RIGZ, DUFFELBAG HOTTIE & BIG OOH confront the competition & make them dig their own graves on a deadly banger called “6 Deep.” The Young Devante laced heater permeates from the speakers & diffuses throughout the atmosphere to reign terror on all hostile forces & swiftly snuff out their rivals! The savage spitters attack with such ferocity that it leaves the soundscape in shreds. Bloodthirsty emcees do major damage to the track & ensure all enemies are buried underground!

2) KILLY SHOOT, GENERALBACKPAIN, and LUPUS DEI move “Ill Bricks” over ChimBeatz powered production while keeping their enemies in check! The lyrical cartel gang up against the opposition to pistol whip them into submission & prevent them from rising to power. Tactical moves are made & hollow points slice through the air. Respect the #hometeam or they’ll make you disappear!

3) RIM & VILLIN P reminisce on the past while displaying no patience for weak rappers who put zero effort into their art on the “KeeP! It Ville” banger “Side Bloccs!” Carefully crafted rhymes conjure powerful images and trigger a carousel of emotions. The impact of this track can be felt worldwide. Alcapella blesses the joint with a bouncy rhythm & soulful sampled chorus that keep the head nod factor at an all-time high!

4) JOSIAH THE GIFT leaves ’em leakin’ in the lobby while settin’ the booth on fire with a HooksArthur laced audio gem called “NotSeeIsms!” An ill onslaught of rhymes get propelled into the stratosphere by an ominous soundscape that makes you believe danger’s lurking right around the corner. Josiah sinks his teeth into the track and leaves an imprint on the underground that will be felt for years to come!

5) THIRD EYE MERCHANTS join forces with RUSTE JUXX & KING MAGNETIC for new heat targeted directly at the underground! “Shoot 2 Kill” sports an audio wave of sonic magnificence garnished with impressive work on the 1 & 2’s and raw verses from Hip Hop’s heralded mic beasts! When you get a crew like this together you can expect the best. The cloth they’re cut from is a rare fabric. High praise becomes them and they wear it well!

6) THA SOLOIST x EL AY team up for a sonic masterwork from their upcoming “Solitude” collabo project called “Sunny City!” The prolific spitter has showcased a variety of styles on albums he’s released throughout the years but seems particularly inspired by the A-list soundscape divinely crafted by #TheWinners First Lady. The lyrical content deals with the duality of the city while the track itself actually FEELS like a hot summer day in the hood. You picture kids getting sprayed by open fire hydrants, homies chillin’ on the corner, and the cops closing in to break up the fun.

7) V DON, WILLIE THE KID & ETO reunite to f**k s**t up on a brash banger called “Floor Seats!” While Willie & Eto have been steadily rippin’ mics for some time they’re still underestimated in certain circles. If anyone thinks these bar brawlers can’t go toe-to-toe with the legends in the game that person needs to get their head checked! This track will silence all naysayers as the duo steer the classically adorned arrangement to greatness!

8) NOMAD CARLOS & FARMA BEATS bring another “Cipher” banger to the underground arena with the new track “Take These Gems!” A blast of gargantuan boom bap encompasses everything around ya as The Council spitter intimidates his enemies with well-earned bravado and a steady dose of confident rhymes. Nomad & Farma could keep all this heat to themselves but instead they’re in the mood for sharing. We may not be deserving of all the gems set to appear on their new project…but if they’re givin’ ’em out we’ll gladly take ’em!

9) MR. RIPLEY takes stock of all those around him & sniffs out a snitch on the soulful Self Taught laced heater “Snake Eyez!” Suspicion may trigger distrust but it also leads to a level of lyrical excellence that elevates the track to new heights. When your back’s against the wall you might make a foolish decision. Mr. Ripley chooses his actions wisely by hitting the booth to share his talent with the world!

10) BENEFIT delivers a heartfelt homage to Hip Hop that immediately hits home with the Mephux produced gem “Therapy And Peace!” The lyricist focuses on the old adage of “making something out of nothing” and manifests a poignant, creative masterpiece out of thin air. DJ Deadeye provides a vital contribution to the track with carefully selected cuts that bring life to the entire affair. Real Hip Hop is showcased in its purest essence. The lyrical dope s**t awaits you below.

Well that’s it for this week. Catch ya next time and…DON’T SLEEP!
