2) DANIEL SON is “trying to separate from the competition”…but why try when you’re already better than 99% of the muthaf***as in the game? Brown Bag Money’s legend in the making keeps the opposition sweating with new “Pressure Cooker” heat signed, sealed, and delivered by one man production monolith, FUTUREWAVE! It doesn’t stop there! Lyrical deity, CRIMEAPPLE, takes time out from his busy schedule of stomping out emcees to bless his brethren with instantly iconic bars on “Bucket Spoons!” The sinister track slinks in to seduce everyone who listens. 3) CLASSIC teamed up with SKYZOO & MURAKULOUS to smack up the competition on “Beat Bullies!” The Casso Beats powered mega heater is an unrelenting slice of soulful boom bap that can’t be ignored! Creative, compelling wordplay blends effortlessly with earth-shattering production that registers a 9.5 on the Richter Scale! Take your beatdown like a man. Get up & do it over again. These are the kind of bullies you’ll keep running back to!

4) THE LEGION revive that ill golden era interplay on the “Three The Bronx Way” banger, “1980 Something!” The crew transport listeners back to the origins & defining impact of the B-Boy days with vivid, animated lyrics & beats that get the gold stamp for underground approval! 1980, 1990, or 2000 & something…No matter the era, you’ll keep pumping this track!

5) J. BOND of ILLPO steps out on the solo tip to drop a D.R.U.G.S. BEATS laced street heater called “Just Me!” The “Bondseye” power gem possesses a cinematic quality that allows the listener to visualize J’s vivid accounts as he reminisces about the rocky path he took to achieve his dreams! The lyricist will be the first to acknowledge that the struggle is real…but that only makes the end result so much greater!

6) K.BURNS murdered the competition on a raw “REDRUM” assault featuring B’more spitter on the rise, MAK P! “Louie Red Rag” is one of those joints that sneaks in & snuffs out lesser tracks with ease! The Bloodblixing laced heater takes hold of your speakers & spurs K to kick ill rhymes with the controlled confidence of a true hustler! Mak P makes a stellar debut on the scene with enough infectious energy to power the whole block! Respect the “Louie Red Rag” & keep the s**t on rewind!

7) RIGZ makes “Leaps” & bounds over the hatin’ ass naysayers with a funky MICHAELANGELO produced gem from FXCK RXP RXCXRDS dope 7″ series! The Da Cloth lyricist reflects on his come up & the shady dealings that went down on his side of town with a sense of calm registered by someone who’s seen it all. Rigz could never stay at the bottom for long. With these kind of skills it was inevitable he’d rise to the top!

8) SAUCE HEIST joins forces with AL.DIVINO on the CAMOFLAUGE MONK powered “SaucexMonk” banger, “Boston Bronx Massacre!” The ill lyricists light the block up with verbal blasts of extreme barz that demonstrate exactly how the mic murderers get down! There will be blood when the crew comes to town. It’s savage slaughter music for your speakers!

9) STEVIE FRANKS paints a compelling portrait of the streets on the Eto laced gem, “The Shooter!” GUNS. MURDER. KARMA. When the darkness pulls you in there’s no easy way out. Stevie allows us to feel empathy for the triggerman with superior storytelling skills that make him one to watch!

10) What better way to end off the countdown than with a certified “Masterpiece?” And who better to deliver it than Weightless Recordings’ rhyme visionary, BLUEPRINT? “The Two-Headed Monster” single filters into the atmosphere with a soulful, uplifting piano loop powered by the lyricist’s tale of a young girl who strives to be a success in the art world. An unexpected pregnancy threatens to undermine her goals until her boyfriend reminds her that being a good parent is an art in itself. No matter what level of achievement she reaches in life, her child would surely prove to be the greatest masterpiece of all.

Well that’s it for this week. Catch ya next time and…DON’T SLEEP!
