Toothless stunts & bloodstained rugs are what you witness on the regular while the undaunted duo triumph again!!!
2) The unexpected passing of ABE LINX wasn’t just a loss to his family & friends, it was a loss for the Hip Hop community as a whole!!! On a glorious gem unearthed by his partner-in-rhyme TULLY C we can revisit their incomparable chemistry and the magic they conjured on the daily. The immaculate production and illustrious lyricism represent a work of art that should be held in the deepest reverence. “1,000 Gold Ropes” is a reminder once and for all that they were always light years ahead of the competition!
3) AGALLAH & POPOFF blow up the underground with an audio explosive titled “T.N.T.”(Trials N Tribulations)!!! “TheKO2TapeDeluxe” megaton bomb contains incendiary bars and combustible production that will blast you into the new millennia!!! Ag & P don’t f**k wit’ da Trap, they don’t f**k wit’ da Drill, but they DO f**k wit’ da steel so y’all best not be hostile!!!
4) Who’s in “The Auditorium?” COMMON & PETE ROCK of course!!! This joint had us “Dreamin'” of The Golden Era’s grandiosity when incredible tracks like these were so plentiful you couldn’t help but be spoiled by the limitless supply. The supreme legends take listeners back to an age of awe-inspiring imagination where your wildest thoughts could be transformed into reality!!!
5) We won’t call it a comeback but LL COOL J sure knows how to make a helluva reappearance on the scene! “Saturday Night Special” showcases production by the legendary Q-TIP and features RICK ROSS & FAT JOE droppin’ verses like their hunger’s been reignited from within. Only a fool would ever believe that Uncle L could fall off. But if you did, that’s him standing on your hand as you dangle from the cliff!
6) Once was just the teaser & twice just wasn’t enough because NOWAAH THE FLOOD AND THE ARCHITECT are returning for “Trill Life Mathematiks 3” heat called “Heard And Seen”(Eu And Rope”)!!! We said this many times before but one of Floody Ranks’ best assets is that he rhymes like he simply doesn’t give a f**k! And why should he when it’s apparent he can body any track you release without trying!!! The Architect complements his lyrical artistry with resplendent rhythms and heaven sent transitions that solidify his status as one of the best behind the boards sonic geniuses to ever do the damn thang! We don’t know what you heard. We don’t know what you seen. but ya really ain’t seen nothin’ yet ’til you check out the team!
7) Some feel that LORD JUCO got “Lucky” when he started risin’ up the Hip Hop charts! Well we’re here to tell you it takes much more than luck to drop bars like this…And the word we’re lookin’ for here is SKILLS! Check the technique & flow employed over the sensational SIBBS ROC laced soundscape and you’ll realize it’s somethin’ you just can’t do. He stays fly while y’all struggle to get by. Pull up a chair cause this is just the beginning!
8) Doctor Bachlava’s been gettin’ in a lot of trouble lately but we’re confident that THE ALCHEMIST can help him out!!! For ACTION BRONSON life’s like a game of “SEGA.” But the key to winning is determined by the mentality of the man behind the controls. If he stays focused nothing can stop him. Pray for his safe return before the industry steals his soul!!!
9) BIG TRIP x JAMIL HONESTY deliver “Major League” heat in the form of an unrepentant banger from “Honestly Filthy!” On a project adorned with hits, The Umbrella assassin and lyrical/production dynamo serve up a stand out track that sounds like a circus arrived in the projects and was ambushed by a sea of corner boys brandishing the Blicky!!! Dem some wild boys out here shootin’ up the streets. Let the toast fly and they’ll never forget who runs the town!
10) If you’re feelin'”Less Than A Man” it’s probably because you stepped up to THE CO-OP…and they promptly beat you down to the ground! It’s okay to doubt the merit of PASSPORT GIFT, PARKS, RASHEED CHAPPELL & DAVID BARS ’cause their talent overshadows anything you say. From the second the groove kicks in you know the competition’s DESTROYED! There was never a second we thought they would last. For all you punks there’s no comin’ back. You got your panties in a bunch & now they’re soiled!!!
