Insomniac Magazine leads you into the slaughterhouse…which is exactly how we felt about this week’s countdown since so many of our faves were left on the cutting room floor! Looks like the heat will spill over into the next list on what is sure to be one of our most explosive Top Tens to date!!!
1) ESTEE NACK updated his WESTSIDE GUNN curated “Nacksaw Jim Duggan” Griselda Records debut with a scorching hot sizzler laced by CRUCIAL THE GUILLOTINE! “4DEVILHEADZ” is the type of track that will make fake ass rappers flee & have Satan begging for mercy when faced with the full wrath of the Lynn, Massachusetts mic murderer!!! Crucial G put his foot, leg, and waist in the magnificent production to emerge with a certified winner!!!
2) INNOCENT? slid in at the last second to knock several contenders out the box with a GREEZI AMIIN crafted banger called “XYZ!” Hip Hop’s lyrical undertaker buries the bodies and asks questions later as he batters the opposition with a bonanza of deadly bars!!! There’s no stopping the unstoppable so he steamrolls through your town & catches wreck in every crevice of the underground!!!
3) PLANET ASIA shuts down all the talk about cabals & secret societies on 38 SPESH laced heat featuring TRISTATE & KLASS MURDA! “Illuminati Money” dispels all the f**kery about blood oaths and suggests you pursue knowledge instead of being led down a path of superstitious beliefs. Hard work & talent are why the crew are in a position to win. Ain’t no shortcuts in this game. They just make it look easy!
4) “BVille Veterans,” AGASAKI LO & D.V. ALIAS KHRYST steal the show on a glorious audio triumph we knew would make the countdown from the first second we hit PLAY!!! The groove on this joint is pure sonic bliss that sounds like Yacht Rock & 90’s Boom Bap exploded and merged into a completely new musical genre!!! Ag rips into his self-laced masterwork with the full authority of a commander-in-chief before 5 star General DV dominates the set the very instant he says “Uhhh!” Best believe this is Hip Hop at its finest!!! Sit at the Roundtable wit’ the Conquerors below!!!
5) “Finish My Plate” is one of the most powerful tracks we’ve encountered this year & the degree of carnage initiated by MARK 4ORD & YIPES’ lyrical savagery is immeasurable!!! GRAPHWIZE doesn’t just produce…he drops nuclear bombs! With DJ MANIPULATOR annihilating everything in sight!!! DMT MEDIA BROS showcase their brilliance via matching animated action. These Tier 1, Top 5 champions will NEVER lose!!!
6) J SCIENIDE & NAPOLEON DA LEGEND keep herds of Hip Hop fans elated with the release of a brand new “Goat VS Sheep” sonic banger! On “Wind Parade,” two of the most esteemed underground heavy hitters blow away all competitors with supreme mic skills over a monstrous, unrepentant beat!!! As the mic titans trade bars we listen in awe to a powerhouse duo who elevate all audio proceedings!

Every little step he takes is a move toward a higher level of success…and linking up with Hagakure is the ultimate way to triumph over all odds!
8) PRYME PROLIFIK, KROMEATOSE, MISTER MISK & TONE SPLIFF drop that “Heavy Mental” over production heat from DJ MATTY LITE & the entire underground rejoices in the process!!! This is a power collabo of epic proportions that must be played repeatedly to absorb the full impact! Many artists are all style, no substance…but these underground entities come correct with first rate material!!
9) VEGA7 THE RONIN x SUPERIOR bullied another placeholder off the countdown with their DANIEL SON featured banger “Buckwheat!!!” The “Sleep Is The Cousin” sizzler finds the Brown Bag Money mic executioner setting s**t off with his formidable rhyme skills before Vega7 eviscerates Superior’s insanely compelling production without mercy!!! Fumes are brewin’ baby! Superior, Daniel Son & Vega want all the smoke!!!
