1) OBATRON gathers listeners around the campfire to set the mood for his new opus “The Brick Or The Bale…The Gun Or The Tail.” Once we get comfortable, he brings in ESTEE NACK who launches into action for a funky heater called “Anton & Aristotle!” The Nack Daddy wrestles Obatron’s soulful soundscape to the ground and rides it off into the sunset! It’s short…but not sweet. This s**t’s as hardcore as it gets!
2) MC BRAVADO, PHLOW & TECK-ZILLA team up to unleash a whole new level of high-powered heat called “Hip-Hop!” The immaculate boom bap backdrop is one of the most refreshing joints we’ve heard in a minute. Teck-Zilla endows the lyricists with so much “feel good” sonic-fuel that it brings out the best from each artist. MC Bravado kicks off the track with forceful rhymes of reflection while Teck’s longtime collaborator Phlow closes out the entire affair with an equal measure of awe-inspiring bars!
3) DANIEL SON x FUTUREWAVE deliver new heat in the form of a magnetically compelling banger called “Old Soul!” The underground has a constant need for dope music & when these two team up our dreams are always fulfilled! Daniel Son has been b***ch-slappin’ the hell outta tracks for years so it should come as no surprise that he bullies this joint into submission! Futurewave dusts off another spectacular clip from his arsenal with a promise of many more to come.
4) CONFLIKT crafts a stellar soundscape then summons MAGNO GARCIA, KING AUTHOR, AWFUL P, LOTUS, JUICE MEGA, DARKSTAR & ZAGNIF NORI for a propulsive banger called “GP-100!” Raw rhymes rip into the production at a frequency so alarming you might have to rewind several times to keep up! Listen to this track at the highest volume then wipe the blood off your speakers when it’s done!
5) DIRTYDIGGS x RIGZ fuel up for adventure on the “Asteroid Dust” action heater “Cloth Rigz Ya Digg!” Rapid-fire rhythms overtake your senses then completely consume your mind when the team turn up the heat! Sci-fi sound effects add to the intergalactic experience as they navigate thru the treacherous universe. Rivals are feelin’ the pressure but they’re relegated to a mundane experience on earth. Y’all n***as stay grounded while Diggs & Rigz ascend to greatness & deliver an underground encounter that’s out of this world!
6) SPECTACULAR DIAGNOSTICS enlists the magnificent MAGNO GARCIA for a gem from the reissue of his “3UP” project – “3UP+!” “Old Linen Robes” is a brand new heater laced with ethereal rhythms that conjure vivid images of ancient times. Magno emerges as lyrical conqueror of the underground terrain who rises from despair to guide us through the darkness. Hidden parchments are revealed & wise words are spoken. We stare in awe as he resurrects the Hip Hop culture from the dead.
7) JAY ROYALE x BIG TWINS dominate a Ray Sosa powered banger accented with dope cuts from DJ Grazzhoppa! On “The Let Go,” fans get a full blast of explosive lyricism meticulously crafted by the verbal executioners! Play this in the morning & it’ll wake up the entire hood! Muthaf***as won’t brush their teeth… they won’t take a shower…They’ll just run outside & nod their heads ’til the cops make ’em go back home!
8) NEMS has reached a phase in his life where he can do no wrong! Finding the perfect production partner in the form of the one & only Jazzsoon, the Coney Island Mayor continues to drop kick listeners with new heat! The “Gorilla Monsoon” banger “Lil N____” reinforces the FACT that your achievements in this rap game are minuscule in comparison to those attained by the Hip Hop heavyweight! If you feel small you SHOULD. NEMS is hittin’ the big time while you lil n***as watch him on TV at home.
9) RANSOM helms a cinematic masterpiece on wax brilliantly scored by esteemed underground composer NICHOLAS CRAVEN! If you’re out there doin’ dirt “The Reaper’s Hood” will smack you upside the head & make you sit your ass down long enough to reflect. A plentiful reservoir of jewels are being laid out on the table. All you have to do is take ’em. The Langston Hughes with a tainted view invites everyone to his street ministry. Ransom rouses your spirit while Nicholas Craven’s production pulls you in!
10) SELF TAUGHT supplies glorious grooves while MR RIPLEY spits the gospel on a praise-worthy gemstone titled “No GMO!” It’s “Rogue Nation” ALL DAY as the lyricist sets y’all straight about the value of his bar game! Instead of flooding the market with a diluted display of commercial crap, Mr Ripley serves up authentic, all-natural lyricism you can cherish for years to come. We don’t need our Hip Hop modified. That’s why they supply us with THE REAL!
