While the masses chase empty caloric slop fed by the algorithm, you’ve once again tapped in to embrace a superb selection of artistry over all of the fast food spectacle. It’s time for another edition of Insomniac Magazine’s Hip Hop Top Ten.

6) Grand Agent forges a fierce strike to “Free the Culture” alongside veteran titans of the true school with this dynamite screen reel. Legendary Brand Nubian lexicon champ Grand Puba, Tajai of Souls of Mischief, and Culture Freedom of Poor Righteous Teachers uplift your senses with a bounty of bars and enlightenment. Roll the action on this potent piece off Grand Agents’ “By Design 2.”
7) Vic Spencer maintains his status as an awe-inspiring MC who will NEVER be ignored on an ill new 10 track featuring illustrious production from Bucky Luger for “Illustrious Potluck.” Their entry into the Top 10 is a thunderous bass bolstered joint that has Flee Lord and Spencer launching treacherous bars on “The Big Hell.”
8) LMNO launches lazer precision lexicon on uber thumping D-Styles shaped audio craft with surgical scratches. The dynamic gem off their “Three Mimes & an Elephant” is an undeniable speaker smasher.
9) The High & Mighty dish a dynamic emcee routine alongside a supremely stitched aural collage brimming with true school dynamics. Bring it back to the classic artistry of slick cuts and fly emceeing with this tight selection from the “Sound Of Market” full plate.
10) You hit the jackpot with slick steez from SONNYJIM and J SCIENIDE that drift atop a Morlockko Plus shaped soulful and funkified foundation for “Five Minutes.” Pull the lever and let the meters light up this winning piece off the “Less Labour More Fruit” full length.
