To set things off, the lyrical titan & production phenom kick the sequel off with one helluva opener. “The Fabric” showcases Jamil in peak form as he breaks down the difference between the real & the fake. His flows & wordplay dominate the powerful landscape while HG relentlessly sprays the ultra-charged set with sonic ammo!
2) Many so-called MCs struggle on the mic but CERTAIN.ONES rip the booth & “DO IT EZ!” Verbal avenger AZTEK THE BARFLY & mix maverick KEEF WOOKIE join BOBBY CRAVES and JIMMI DA GRUNT for an effortless audio exhibition spearheaded by WANN SKLOBI! It’s all in a day’s work for the crew that keeps on winning. Look at ya weak rappers still tryin’ to take their spot. You ain’t top tier. Y’all just cry a lot!
3) “Karma’s a b***h so if ya didn’t catch on the first 2 times here’s ya last chance with “Karma 3!” DAVE EAST x BENNY THE BUTCHER tag team a BUDA & GRANDZ crafted track called “Stone Killer” while murdering everything in sight! The lyrical undertaking is enhanced by a dark soundscape that enhances the energy by percolating with paranoia. If you ain’t built for this s**t you best to stay inside. All it takes is one shot to put ya down. The assassins came out to play!
4) MAX JULIAN enlists VIC SPENCER for a phenomenal “45ive” feature titled “Atlas Theme Music!” When you deliver a dope track an appearance from Vic will make it even better…so it should come as no surprise that The King Of Living eviscerates the stellar soundscape on the spot. That being said, we still can’t help but be captivated by his one of a kind flows & wordplay. Vic bears the entire weight of the underground on his shoulders & carries it without a shrug.
5) NEEK THE EXOTIC x INNOCENT? hit ya with HEAVY heat from “The Realm Of Realness” called “2 The Hard Way!” KAPITAL fuels the entire enterprise with a propulsion of sonic fury that triggers the full wrath of the relentless mic warriors! Neek & Innocent? stepped in the ring & came out swinging while the competition’s left semi-conscious on the ground!
6) For FLEE LORD x 38 SPESH it’s all about “Loyalty + Trust,” which means the track calls for an iconic artist dedicated to the game! FRED THE GODSON was & will always be known for his inhuman work ethic so his supreme bars were the perfect choice for a collabo heater called “The Lord & The God!” The late lyricist’s master craftsmanship is on full display as he & Flee cascade around Spesh’s sonic playground. The energy makes ya want to cop the entire “L+T II” platter after listening…but you can’t ’cause it ain’t droppin’ ’til October!
7) RANSOM’s NICHOLAS CRAVEN laced “I Am Legend” joint provided so much replay value for the team that we’re still hearing it in our dreams! The brilliant heater from the CLASSIC (we DARE you to say it’s not) “Director’s Cut Scene 3” project finds the lyrical deity pondering life’s mysteries with a profound & passionate nature unbeknownst to mortal men. Ransom explores everything from pop culture to the far corners of existentialism as N.C. serves up the PERFECT soundscape for reflection.
8) There’s a “Robbery At Blockbuster” with EMILIO CRAIG x ROME STREETZ widely believed to be the main culprits! The IAMT2 “Anonymous” heat blast showcases The Boss Don Records mic ripper bodying the set with a rapid flow of deadly rhymes. He conjures the calm & collected style of Roc Marciano while imprinting his own unique stamp on the proceedings! Rome then follows up that intensity with another show-stopping performance! Does the man ever fail? No. If you’re new to his steez you already took a loss!
9) Nigeria, the U.S. and Canada lead the charge to “Victory” as TECK ZILLA, SHABAAM SAHDEEQ, INDIGO PHOENYX, PHLOW & ETERNIA show ya what the underground is all about! The colossal collective sound off over an unabashedly triumphant track that highlights the complex lyrical styles of each entity. Teck pushes the audio opulence to the max and delivers a collabo heater that will be remembered throughout the annals of history!
10) Per tradition, we exit with a BANGER!!! DJ COSM, THE LEGEND ADAM BOMB, MERKULES, FORTIFIED MIND & HALFCUT go for broke and DESTROY your set on “All Or Nothing!” The lyrical explosives being detonated across Cosm’s treacherous terrain are almost too much to handle! The audience is assaulted with so much heat ya might be incinerated the second you listen! If you want that weak s**t take your ass somewhere else but if you want a certified smash gear up & PRESS PLAY!
