1) ROME STREETZ, JAMAL GASOL & LORD JUCO combine forces as BIG TURKS for a sonic triumph inspired by a 70’s Turkish martial arts film. The entire project is light years ahead of the pack but the SOLOMON CHILDS & CHONG WIZARD featured “Lionman” conveys the “Middle-Eastern Wu-Tang” concept to the fullest! Producer Ro Data ramps up the action by incorporating hard-hitting beats garnished with samples from Turkish folk music. The lyrical all-stars listen for their cue & lunge into the fray with ferocity! Don’t even THINK about stoppin’ ’em! Big Turks is an international threat that can’t be contained!
2) RJ PAYNE x DARK LO get malicious on the mic for a Stan Da Man powered banger called “Drumline!” The “SquareRootOfAKilo” mastercut rattles your senses in the best way. If you thought lyrics didn’t matter it’s time to think again! Stan Da Man makes sure the joint soars by givin’ his all on production. He drops the drums while the duo keep spittin’ dope lines!
3) AL.DIVINO brings “Dysfunction” to a RATICUS track and that’s why the s**t is so f***ing dope! The maniacal rhyme slayer employs his rapid-fire savagery to a National Emergency Alert System Warning & disguises it as a slice of menacing audio heat! We get a deadly display of lyricism & that’s exactly what’s needed. Hear those Scottish bagpipes blaring from afar? Your funeral march is now in procession.
4) The idea of GENERALBACKPAIN & MADHATTAN catchin’ wreck on a BODYBAGBEN track is almost too much to comprehend but our minds are officially blown because the moment is here! On “Backpain” the magnificent mic assassins ride a jazzy slice of sonic supremacy into the Hip Hop history books while fueling our desire for more! “The Season” centerpiece is a surefire banger! Check the lyricists out as they settle the score!
5) FALCON OUTLAW x CAMOFLAUGE MONK bust off audio rounds for the underground on a heavyweight High Heat hit called “Hot Gun On The Waist!” The Falconcrest lyricist’s tracks are always something to look forward to because of the epic scale of their production & this one’s no different…especially since he has the Hip Hop Scorsese at the helm. Camoflauge Monk transforms Falcon Outlaw’s bold declarations into serious threats. We slipped in & out of consciousness toward the end of the song then took off our headphones & found bullet holes in our chest!!!
6) VIC SPENCER tries to keep the proceedings from taking a dark turn but ANKHLEJOHN brings out his inner mic demon! The “Bah Wounds” banger finds the lyrical titans dismantling your entire operation with vicious verses & furious flows that’ll f**k your whole head up! ILL Brown supplies the ominous fire power that launches “B.P.O.S.” into the stratosphere. It ain’t easy being a beautiful piece of s**t but it sure makes life more interesting!
7) SHABAAM SAHDEEQ, BORN UNIQUE & TRISTATE got ’em shook…and with this much lyrical heat it’s easy to see why! “Razor Sharp Vernacular” showcases the bar slingers squeezing a couple rounds at the competition and taking them out with ease. J57 ratches up the anxiety with a slow grinding beat that serves as foreshadowing to your impending doom. Lyrics cut like a knife & leave blood on your Adidas. Ain’t no bandage big enough for this wound!
8) FERAL SERGE & MC WHITEOWL drop an intoxicating CERTAIN.ONES cocktail mixed to perfection titled “Bar Room Babble!” Dope rhymes are delivered at a rapid pace while DJ BEATSMITH & FRED ONES provide superior sonic assistance to the lyrical onslaught igniting your speakers. You might end up with a beer gut from the experience but we’re sure you can handle the weight!
9) LORD JUCO delivers his OCD flow over brilliant production from The Standouts for a “White Walls” heater called “Touchless!” You can’t force the feelin’ & you don’t have to because the second the groove kicks in you catch a vibe! F**k your party, f**k your guestlist…It’s a Lord Juco experience & the whole world’s invited!
10) BOBBY CRAVES, VERSES & WANN SKLOBI keep rockin’ the boom bap while receiving worldwide acclaim for their outstanding underground output! CERTAIN.ONES is a name associated with high quality Hip Hop. Hearing them conquer another stellar soundscape is something you should be accustomed to…but make no mistake, it never gets boring! The lyricists hit ya with a sharp left while Wann emerges from right behind you to dish out a sonic uppercut. If you think corporate rap is where it’s at then the media’s got you blinded. Check out “Guilty Pleasure” instead. Pick your poison & rewind it!
