Other than Tyler the Creator, who else can inspire Lil Wayne to sound like the Weezy we really WANT to hear & what other successful MCs are selecting the underground’s cream of the crop for tracks that enhance their commercial prospects? Think hard. Now listen to the crickets in the distance. On “HWH8,” Gunn continues to showcase the best the biz has to offer but doesn’t forget about his crew at homebase! That’s why he & CONWAY return to glorious tag team form on the CONDUCTOR WILLIAMS laced masterwork “Spoonz!” This joint is like some “Gutter-Gospel” steez that makes ya feel like beatin’ down a muthaf***a then repenting for your sins immediately thereafter! 2) Ain’t no soft s**t here so if you’re lookin’ for “The Alpha in the Room” you’ve now come into contact with four of ’em! ONAJE JORDAN pours his production brilliance into a stellar sizzler featuring SUBSTANCE810, KINGDOM KOME & KILLY SHOOT. Now all you gotta do is “Play Ya Role” if you wanna get down with the HomeTeam experience! Substance810 “ain’t here to impress you” but he IS “here to apply pressure” which is why the competition’s over there cowering in the corner. Kingdom Kome then spits in your face while you’re all in your feelings before Killy twists your spine & breaks every bone!
3) WESTSIDE GUNN calls ROME STREETZ into action & lets the supreme spitter take center stage on a DENNY LAFLARE laced explosive called “Peri Peri!” The lethal lyricist sprays the set with a full clip of verbal ammunition that clears the way for Gunn’s barrage of poisonous prose to inject itself into the bloodstream of the underground. Once it takes ahold of you there’s no turning back. It’s Griselda or death & the latter’s not an option!
4) STU BANGAS & APATHY are fresh out the gate with a dope joint that’ll make the crowd “Levitate!” We wanted somethin’ funky to listen to & lo and behold, the gods have spoken! This slice of audio excitement finds Apathy rising above reptilian rappers slithering thru the commercial cracks of the industry! Stu coats the underground in snake repellent while Ap gets a shovel from the shed and goes to work!

On the “Delgado” sizzler “Slow Down,” Flee finesses Roc’s funky track with an unrestrained flow that reminds rivals to run home to mommy! There’s no competition when there’s no one to compete with! Flee Lord & Roc Marciano got the opposition beat!
6) WESTSIDE GUNN, ROME STREETZ & STOVE GOD COOKS work wonders on a DENNY LAFLARE powered mega blast called “Draymond!” Rome employs a dexterous display of lyricism so ill the joint makes you wonder how Gunn & Cooks could ever hope to follow it up! Surprisingly, the GxFR General does just that with high-pitched heat that takes the track in a different direction. Just when ya think it’s over, Cooks steps up to the mic. He bodies the booth & burns the muthaf***er down to the ground!!!
7) BOBBY CRAVES sets sail for a solo adventure & cruises across a KARNATE crafted soundscape called “Bob by Craves!” The CERTAIN.ONES capo is known for mystically bending words to his will & on this track it’s clear he’s in complete control! While other lyricists might struggle to stay in the pocket, Bobby freaks the production king’s funky ass arrangement with ease! You’ll be noddin’ your head from dusk to dawn. Get ready for that neck brace. Y’all are gonna need it!
8) There are plenty of artists out there playin’ themselves which is why THE QUARTER INCH KINGS & ZAGNIF NORI are “Taking Notes” on what NOT to do! The first lesson that should be learned from this crew is the amount of time & effort it takes to produce quality material. Zagnif puts his all in every bar he spits while The Quarter Inch Kings get more ambitious with every instrumental! On this track, the NobleScity spitter peers from the shadows & laughs as the opposition set up their own downfall!
9) G FAM BLACK teams up with P-RO for a merciless mega heater called “Top Rope!” The “SICKO” slaughterfest showcases the Knuckle Dragguz in peak form as they snatch your chain for fun while gettin’ homicidal on anyone who tries to test ’em. UglyJon fuels the whole affair with a stealthily skeletal track that’ll keep ya on the dance floor while terrorizing you to the core!
10) On this countdown, WESTSIDE GUNN gets the first & last word as he joins forces with BOLDY JAMES on the CAMOFLAUGE MONK laced “716 Mile!” The GxFR comrades effortlessly flow over the succulent slice of sonic heat with respective tones of helium and substance high-tinged energy that propel the joint into orbit. Ain’t much else to say but we gotta echo the sound byte at the end. “Flygod has the best s**t!” Who would ever doubt him?
