Don’t Sleep On These New Releases

Insomniac Magazine ends the summer on a high note with a stellar edition of the Weekly Top Ten! Gear up for action & tap in below!!!

1) What happens when “Delgado Meets The Big Mijo?” FLEE LORD & XP THE MARXMAN answer that question with a WUILLDAFRIQQ laced underground explosive featuring RHETTMATIC on the 1 & 2’s! The ill rhyme renegades send sparks thru the streets with a lyrical inferno of venomous verses! No one can overpower the combined might of these two mic titans. They’re in a lane of their own while all competition gets left in the dust!!!

2) Gorilla Twins ILL BILL & NEMS teach suckers to “Smarten Up” as they get mad reckless on a LITTLE VIC laced audio extravaganza!!! The “Billy” bar executioners demonstrate a master class in rhyming by flexing dope flows with far more substance than your average rapper can comprehend! Hip Hop lives in 2021 & it resides in the bodies of this deadly duo from BK!

3) B.A. BADD & L-BIZ’s new ACE FAYCE laced joint is packin’ a MAJOR punch…so no wonder it’s called “Iron Mike!!!” The rhyme savages rip into a haunting arrangement with ample boom bap propulsion & sprawling, sinister keys that sound like Freddy Krueger’s worst nightmare!!! If ya want soft s**t go elsewhere. But for that hardcore heat ya better PRESS PLAY!!!

4) It’s a “Big Umbrella” takeover as ALOEIGHT serves up supreme heat featuring MICKEY DIAMOND & PRO DILLINGER!!! The vicious verbal assault is the driving force between this “Arachnid” audio banger that showcases a MAMMOTH beat & ominous arrangement. Anytime Mickey & Pro team up they set the underground on fire! Hopefully they’ll do a joint album someday…but in the meantime, this dope track will definitely tide us over!

5) CAPPADONNA & STU BANGAS link up with SICK JACKEN for ill “3rd Chamber Grail Bars” steez called “Everything Is Measured!” The hard-hitting track & electric lyricism wake ya up from your sleep then shake you into submission! It’s just what’s needed as we head into the fall. A new season of serious heat is upon us!

6) NOWAAH THE FLOOD & BOMBAY THE REALEST cut thru the “Traffic” to take listeners on “The Expedition” of a lifetime! Lyrical gems are dropped over a triumphant arrangement that take unpredictable detours into the underground! Nowaah cruises across all sonic obstacles thrown in his path. When East meets West the magic happens!

7) G4 JAG’s distinctive gravel-pitched tone perfectly melds into an insane GHOST DAVE laced arrangement that registers the intense fervor of PE’s iconic track “Rebel Without A Pause!” No question, “Unlaced Timbs” is a next level masterwork that might go over the head of casual listeners…but most definitely WON’T go unnoticed by true heads worldwide. This is G’s funkiest sizzler to date in a career brimming with limitless possibilities!

8) TERMANOLOGY possesses “Determination” & plenty of talent to back it up!!! On the dope UFO FEV featured gem “Take Me To The Plug,” STATIK SELEKTAH crafts a majestic backdrop that incites the rhyme slayers to deliver passionate mic turns that smoke the weak performances of their rivals! One listen ain’t enough for this track so play it all afternoon long…then listen to the album in its entirety!!!

9) DJ RONSHA, NAPOLEON DA LEGEND & TONE SPLIFF challenge your commercial leanings with “Underground Things” that will last a lifetime! Everyone knows that the REAL soul lies in the deep recesses of the culture…so when something sparks, corporations want a piece of the pie! Superior bars, production, and cuts aren’t tailor-made for the mainstream. Y’all can imitate all ya want but the quality will always be lacking!

10) ARSINEL & FAM ROSS bring PEN LORDZ mania to the masses with KHEYZINE crafted heat featuring GREY PHOX! “Smorgasbord” is a brilliant buffet of lyricism and production that took ahold of us & wouldn’t let go! We wanted that raw, uncut Hip Hop we always keep on rotation & these sonic warriors most definitely didn’t disappoint!!!

Well that’s it for this week. Catch ya next time and…DON’T SLEEP!
